Somewhat disappointed in the condition of this fertilizer. It had a lot of large lumps that I had to break up before beginning to spread it with my Scotts broadcast spreader. Time will tell if the product is effective.

This is the second year in a row I've used the Scotts 4 step program. If you follow it, you will get the results. But when you miss a step you start getting weeds. This will be with any product. Highly recommend this fertilizer! 4 stars because it's hard to be perfect!

Ehhh...i have weeds...the question is would i have dramatically more weeds if i did not apply the product.

I have been using Scotts products for over 30 years. Scotts is a name that I trust. So, I purchased Step 1 and Step 2. I can't recommend this product.. It did not work well for me and my lawn. See my review for Scotts Step 2. I used both Step 1, Step 2 and the Deep Green product with disappointing results on my lawn.
