So I brought this product on a reccomendation. I have PCOS and been trying to manage my symptoms for the last 12 years and been trying to get pregnant for 5 years....Anyway, my first impressions were that it was very expensive and reading the previous reviews I was a bit sceptical. But as it was reccomended I went ahead and brought it.The.main review that put me off was the pump not working. When I got it, it was almost impossible to get any out but I found that taking the bottom off, I pushed the inner base up and the pump works perfectly.I have been using for 2 weeks now, I started using once a day, I had a bad reaction with my stomach but I don't know if it was linked. But after a few days that stopped, since then I feel like I have slept better, my moods are 1000 x better and my energy levels. I am Still waiting for a period but I have been spotting.. For the 2nd week I have been using it twice a day and think I need to be using it a bit longer before I see its really affects.

I have been using this product for about 6 months and am a repeat buyer. I initially bought it to reduce hot flashes - which it does a tremendous job of for me. I think it helps me sleep better at night and have more energy as well. The biggest benefit is that as I am losing weight, this product is helping shrink my flabby skin as I do. When I use it regularly, my skin looks much firmer and smooth. I am 49 and pre-menopausal. My skin looks great - no breakout issues. Someone at the health food store told me this hormone was for men. Whatever...it's working great for me. Do your homework, but I highly recommend. I follow the directions and rotate areas I apply to each day. I dread the days I'm supposed to go without it (5 days a month.) One bottle lasts me 30 days.

This product was prescribed by my (homeopathic) Dr. after my full hysterectomy. My OBGYN said,”No, you don’t need this since you don’t have anything left.” So, I mention this to the first Dr. He says, “But, your BRAIN still needs the pregnenolone.”I’ve been using this product for over 5 years. I don’t have brain fog or ANY night sweats and I sleep 8 hours a night. I wouldn’t go without it!!!It’s been hard to find at times so I order 3 at a time now. Yes! The LAST of the last I hammer out because it’s expensive but worth every penny to me.

Recieved it today and the pump didn't work. Tip for all take the bottom off and push it up then it will come out.I hope the product works we shall see. It does feel nice and absorbs well into skin.Packaging needs a redesigned. Especially as you only get a small amount of product. Even like a jar with a spatula or something.

This lotion works well as a moisturizer, but I am skeptical about the product as a hormone (precursor) replacement. Here's why. First, the lotion is quite sticky (no one else who has currently reviewed this product has mentioned this, so maybe I am more sensitive to stickiness than the average person). The dollop of lotion that is provided with each pump is quite large, although it only provides 15 mg of pregnenolone (with only some small percentage of that actually being absorbed) and is supposed to be spread over different sensitive skin areas every day. I am not a large person and I find that due to the stickiness of the product and the very slow time it takes to absorb into the skin, I can cover nearly all of my sensitive skin areas with a single dollop, leaving no where to alternate to the following day. I can still feel the stickiness of the product at the end of the day, even after it has been on for over 12 hours. I can also feel it washing off in the shower at the end of the day, leaving me to wonder how much of the pregnenolone has actually been absorbed. As a moisturizer, the lack of absorbency may be helpful in locking moisture into the skin, providing a barrier between the skin and drying air. But, since the lotion is not very readily absorbed into the skin, I question its effectiveness as a hormone (precursor) replacement.Prior to taking this product, I was taking pregnenolone as an alcohol tincture under the tongue. I found that the strong alcohol burned the sensitive tissues under my tongue and I wanted to give my mouth a chance to heal, so I switched to this product. I crashed shortly after switching and have since gone back to the tincture.If you have not been tested and do not have low cortisol and or dhea levels, you may find that this lotion provides enough pregnenelone for you, but for me it was not enough. I do not have enough sensitive skin areas nor does the lotion absorb well enough to supply me with the levels I need. Plus, I really hate sticky.
