My acupuncturist recommended using this for tight muscles. She recommended mixing one tablespoon of this magnesium gel and mixing with three tablespoons of lotion (I use Shea Butter Cetaphil lotion). I use it as a massage lotion and it has been helping.

Beim Magnesiumöl muß man halt wissen, daß es fettig ist (auch wenns vom Grundsatz her gar kein Öl ist). Meine Mutter hat Magnesiummangel, ich habe immer wieder Krämpfe in den Füßen. Weil Magnesium oral eingenommen, Durchfälle verstärken kann und die Magnesium Lutschtabletten 3-5 mal am Tag gelutscht werden sollen - darauf vergesse ich immer - sind diese Magnesium Sprays deutlich besser.Mutter hat "wild herum gesprüht", also sie konnte nicht genau sehen, wohin diese Sprühstöße genau gingen und es war einiges am Mobiliar und Teppich dann "magnesiumreich". Ich habe ihr daher dieses Gel bestellt und damit kann sie deutlich besser umgehen. Das trägt sie dort auf, wo sie meint und es paßt.Wie bei diesen Magnesiumsprays und -gels üblich, kann es an einem Tag prickeln und man wischt es nach 10-20 Minuten wieder runter und an einem anderen Tag spürt man gar nichts davon. Das gehört dazu. Wenn meine Sprühfläschchen aus sind, nehme ich auch dieses Gel. Sprüher sind für unterwegs vielleicht angenehmer.Von der Wirkung kann ich noch nichts sagen, denn Mutter verwendet das Produkt nun schon einige Zeit lang und hat wöchentliche Blutabnahme. Hier hat sich noch nichts beim Magnesium gebessert oder wertmäßig gezeigt. Ich selbst merke, daß bei regelmäßiger Anwendung die Krämpfe weniger werden. Wenn ich eine Zeitlang drauf verzichte, sind die Krämpfe wieder da. Ich hoffe, das Produkt hilft wirklich und es ist nicht ein Placebo Effekt, den ich habe.

After a kidney transplant, the medications I take rob my body of it's ability to process magnesium through the gut. I am pumped full of magnesium supplements but this is counter-productive as the more magnesium in your digestive tract, the faster everything moves. And Magnesium needs a long time in the gut in order to have any benefit. So now I was losing not just magnesium but most nutrients due to over-magnesium in the gut.The oil was extremely helpful and my magnesium levels actually elevated over three months into "normal" for the first time in years(!!) but it was just torturous to sit covered in itchy oil every day! With the gel I find that I can simply apply it to my lower legs and feet once a day and watch TV (or play video games) while it works. The gel seems to form a hard barrier after application leaving the magnesium in a more liquid (and therefore absorbable) state for longer.This product has given me back my health - I kid you not.
