The plasma cutter works good, I recommend ordering extra consumables with it. The power button from the first time turning on would stick in the on position. I replaced the switch and unit weld made good for it by refunding me a small portion to cover the cost of the fix. All in all it’s a decent machine, I have the stick welder aswell and recommend that too.

Upon arrival I was surprised at how small the plasma cutter is. Well packaged and in good condition, I bought the plasma cutter to cut 3/16” material for a project I am working on. The CUT40 Metal cutter has no issues with the 3/16” material. From price point I think this was an excellent deal however. I use this machine for light duty hobby use an it is excellent for that purpose. If you are looking for a machine for heavy duty commercial applications this is most likely not for you.Consumables are readily available on Amazon.caThe only negative part is that I had to change the plug. This item is built offshore and you will most likely have to change the plug.

. I had never used a plasma cutter before and was impressed with how well it worked. I have only cut 16 guage material so far but it made a very clean and neat cut. The only concern I have is the air doesn't want to shut off as soon as the trigger is released. It seems to take 30 - 50 secs to shut off.

Plugged into wall turned on plasma machine and smoke came out of it. Returned the next day.
