Wish the charging port was in a different place, can be easily mistaken for the power switch in the dark.Light is very bright and well focused and battery holds a charge well. Wish there was a momentary on ability and the idea of click and hold to turn on/off is not my favorite.. Belt clip works well, and overall it is not too heavy. Very good flashlight, almost perfect.

This flashlight is the best one I have every had. I leave it plugged into my USB and have had zero problems with it. Power went out at the house not to long ago and I was able to leave this little thing on, standing in the middle if the floor and it lit the room up so well we played cards. The light, on its highest setting, does get hot but manageable. I will tell you now, this is the best rechargeable flash light you could ever buy. I can not put into how bright this light is. It is truly blinding.

Great light that is very bright when needed but also dimmable so as not to blind. Long battery life and easy to recharge. However I strongly recommend not shutting it off while on the high setting as it's easy to turn on accidentally when in pocket. Also once when the battery discharged enough for it to run in low power mode a full recharge did not reset it to full power. Simple solution was to remove and reinstall the battery.

My favorite flashlight. This thing continues to impress those who were in need of my flashlight. I did put a 1/2 ctb gel filter behind the glass to reduce the intensity of color for work, but I have loved this thing since the day I bought it. I work as an audio/video/Lighting tech and this has come in handy when backstage or on the Catwalk. It has also been beneficial when camping or back home on my grandparents land. When shining into the forest without a gel, the beam lights up the forest!

The unit overheats after 1 minute use. Likely to return. My older model was ordered through manufacturer’s website and still works great.

While serving 22 years in the military, I've tried many different flashlights. This one by far out does them all. Light weight and compact enough to fit in your pocket, this emits a super powerful light for its size. The four levels of brightness are prefect for any situation and the two strobe settings are increable if needed for signaling during emergencies.

For those of you on the fence... buy it. Now. This little sucker is sweet! It is smaller than i thought it would be and WAY brighter than i feared it would be. You never know with flashlights, but this ta-50 is a winner!20 minutes after delivery i received an email from taklite with some general info on my new flashlight. They were letting me know that the battery comes shipped inside the light, but has a protective sticker on the positive button that must first be removed. Next they told me to retighten the tailcap and the head of the flashlight ensuring a solid connection internally for the battery and sealing the water resisting O- rings. I did that and presto! Blinding light flies out of this little thing!So, i cycle through the modes. A long press turns it on then short presses change the modes. Turbo, high, medium, low, and no strobe feature.... what the heck. So i replied to the email they sent to me and asked why the turbo doesn't work and if there was some trick to turn it on. I charged her up and waited for a reply. About an hour later, i couldn't stand it any more, so i grabbed this thing to go out on the back deck with about 5 or 6 other lights i have to do a quick comparison. This ta-50 is the real deal. I had a few that were close, but i paid about double for them and they are almost twice the size of the taklite. So... figured out that a quick double click turns on the strobe function (fyi). Came back inside and saw the email from taklite confirming what i had already discovered by accident. Double click works every time.If you are a flashlight snob, i am sure you will find something to complain about with this light. It's not a nightcore, or a fenix, or a surefire... it's a taklite. Those guys cost twice as much and don't ship out with a battery. I have a sneaking suspiscion that this company will be moving up into the higher ranks of flashlight fandom. Buy one. You won't regret it.

Will not turn on half the time .

Great light, after being on for a while it gets really hot. But it's super bright and easily fits in your pocket. It's so good that it got stolen, I had to order another one.

Great little flashlight! Small but powerful!! Out shines EVERY other flashlight I have ever owned! Worth every penny!

once tried it a few times works great. Still figuring how long the battery will last.
