Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition (PS3)

I cannot access the DLC which was supposed to be part of the purchase. No catalog of the game with the cd in the cover

Dishonored is a fantastic game. With this version, on disc you get all the DLC for the game, Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches. I had this when it first came out on Xbox 360, but after replacing it with a ps3, I re-bought this game. It is well worth the money if you like the stealth, rpg style of games. The fact this game gives you the freedom to decide on your method of progressing through the game, kill everyone, kill some, or kill no-one at all, really makes this game stand out from other games of a similar genre. The controls for this game are great also, with easy access and use of all your tools, giving you a wide variety of skills and abilities to proceed as you see fit. You could argue the main story is quite short, not really short, but easily done in 6 hours say if you know your way after finishing the game, but the time played can easily be extended through little optional actions you can do, such as saving civilians or freeing them, or helping a stranger. Also as you get the DLCs you should have plenty of replayable content to satisfy you. It is also important to mention you must download the dlc from the disc to your hard drive to use it, done through the XMB on your ps3, and is quite large, so if you have a 12gb PS3 you can only use 2 of the dlc at a time. Overall its a brilliant game, and with the DLC free, contained on the disc, is highly worth buying if your thinking about buying Dishonored

Fantastique jeu d'infiltration à la première personne. Pour ceux que l'anglais ne gêne pas, le prix est attractif, d'autant plus qu'il s'agit du Game of the year Edition, contenant donc tous les DLC.

could be an all time great if other versions followed....great value for money though.

I'm not the biggest fan of stealth games, but Dishonored stands among the games I really enjoyed. It somehow captures your attention in the best way possible.Combat and stealth mechanics are very well done in this game, no complicated movement to worry about, and the guards actually have a more realistic line of sight that are lacking in other games. One of the best parts about this game is that you can actually complete it without killing anyone even though your an assassin in this game, in fact the game encourages this style of behhaviour, but for those who don't care who they kill well the game will suit you just fine too.There are some issues though.first is the accents of characters .... given that this is victorian/Steampunk I expected the characters to have a British accent, it really subtracts from immersivness of the game world.Second there are really poor textures, especially on the console version, and there's also some texture popin here and there.Its a brilliantly done title and it deserves a place in your collection.
