Made for a beautiful Birthday gift!
My family has rediscovered the joy of taking the time to put together puzzles as a family or with friends. Even my busy college kids love to take time on the weekend to relax & do a puzzle. When I saw this, I was hoping I had the perfect birthday gift for my son-in-law who loves cats. It was ideal! And so beautiful. They still haven't finished putting it together, but the colors are vibrant. The pieces fit & seem sturdy (no layers coming apart) and the overall size is great for 1000 pieces. Willow Creek Press has a quality product that was a great value & a great gift. Will look to order more in the future!

BEAUTIFUL "PAINTED CAT"
Beautiful design of a "painted cat". It is a challenging puzzle but do-able. Putting it together now. i plan to glue it when I've finished with it and frame it and hang it beside my puzzle collection.

Difficult but doable
Usually I start with the edges and Then work on bigger themes in the middle parts. For this puzzle, since there was so much similarity in all the pieces, I started on the inner edges and worked my way out to the outer edges. I'm about halfway through and it is a beautiful beautiful puzzle. I'm not enjoying it as much as the companion puzzle from White Mountain, but it's a great puzzle.I have to say that either the one I got was pre-owned and repackaged or this manufacturer produces lerrer quality puzzlesa. Many of the pieces looked bent as if someone had already tried putting the edges together repeatedly. Some of the paper was peeling off the fronts. Once I started working with the inner bits, I didn't have that problem, so that's why I concluded that perhaps it had been pre-owned and repackaged. So if you like this puzzle, consider the seller's ratings carefully.The puzzle also doesn't come with dimensions, and the ones posted on the website are not true. This puzzle is 27x20 in. And it would be nice if they would include a poster inside. It doesn't have to be poster sized, but just an additional reference point.
