Manhattan Toy Skwish Color Burst Rattle and Teether Grasping Activity Toy

Perfect toy for my 3 1/2 month old baby. There is so many options for him to hold onto it and it really helps him practice is hand coordination, when he tries to put a specific part of the toy in his mouth. It is also big but light enough to leave beside him or put on his chest for him to get a hold of it by himself. He also loves to stare at it :)Bonus: it looks great, the quality is amazing and we really love the soft noise the beads produce when the toy is moved around.

My son started loving this at 3 months old. A great early grasper, and also entertaining as babies learn cause/effect because the beads make a pleasant rattle sound as they slide. We have the popular o-ball as well, which is comparable for early grasping, however the skwish is superior because babies can put the beaded ends into their mouths which is very satisfying for their senses, whereas the o-ball is smooth and there is nothing to put in their mouth (this frustrated my baby immensely). It’s a pleasant toy to look at, it seems durable, and it’s larger than expected but still lightweight for the earliest grasping. My older children (4 & 2 years old) enjoying squishing it and so do I. It is worth the price and I will repurchase for friends!

My baby loves this toy. From the sound the wooden balls make as they slide on the rods to the squishiness and shape she is always engaged playing with this toy!

What a hit with the adults!I offered this as a Christmas gift to the 6 mo old baby of my friend. It was THE gift at the party. The baby didn't really play with it, because she slept, but the adults LOVED it. The rattle was not left alone the whole Christmas dinner.On the other hand, I have two children and each had their own wooden version of this rattle (in the original color). The pastel looks nicer, softer... . My children loved it from the time they were babies until toddlerhood. It was the first toy they could grab, and it was the first one they could throw. We also bought the plastic version. Both versions had equal success. Neither child managed to break any of the elastics or pop any of the wooden balls throughout the years of use/chew/pull/throw (that was my fear), and the toys are still sitting in their rooms now. I don't want to part with them. They are too cool!

Love it! A great toy for the price. It seems high quality. This was one of the first toys my son played with. It was very easy for him to grab, and he loved chewing on it. He also liked watching and hearing the beads move.
