I Used to Be Perfect: A Study of Sin and Salvation

I’m impressed with this book and I would have liked for it to continue.The author really made me understand the concepts that can me misunderstood many times.Read it and live it!

I’m new to reading this author, but his ability to explain the subject addressed in this book is amazing. In each chapter I saw a new and different perspective than my previous reading and training had shown. Now to think it through and accept and/or reject his premises.

I like it. A succinct and balanced reminder that we are "saved by grace" and the commensurate life changes, are merely fruit of the spirit, an outgrowth, rather than cause... We don't strain to become, and thus earn or qualify for "the pie in the sky, in the by and by". ... We become, we grow in kindness, compassion... It's a journey, and we need to enjoy the journey. Another well written George Knight project.

This is a great book that brings you to reality. We try so heard to be prefect but we do not need to do it as it has all been done for us. We get mixed up with our sin behaviour and SIN the state we are in. We are all in need of a Saviour for the SIN and he will take away our sin. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. Thank God.

This is a very good book to get your Bible and consider the author's ideas and do your own study and make your own conclusions. If you want to obtain a better and ample exposition of what the book is all about you better read Thomas Luttrell's review; he already explained it a lot better than what I could say.

This book really opened my mind to the true meaning of justification, sanctification and perfection. I highly recommend this book!

Great book, Mr. Knight brings up keen insights into what is sin, the causes, and what can humans do about it.

This book really helped me understand the basics of what salvation means. This is what I have been looking for for years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to fully understand what it means to be "saved."
