Yes, the cups are dishwasher safe. I washed them many times, and there were no chips. Also, they do look very fragile, but they are made from double borosilicate glass and are very strong. I often warm up coffee in them directly in the microwave or, on the contrary, add a little ice or even cool it in the refrigerator. There are no problems and never have been. Great cups and excellent quality.
