The profile is high enough to mount a 50mm scope.Four mounting screws and built in scope stop screw insure the scope won't move under heavy recoil applications.I cleaned the dovetail grooves with alcohol and set the base of these mounts then the screw stop if you have the option and then the scope with they're eight mounting screws. When sighting in a scope this mounts eliminates one factor which is scope walking on a high recoil gun.After a few 3 screw scope rail adapters I found these 4 screw rings to be more secure and affordable.Works great on my break barrel air rifle.
