My battery was the original one in my iPhone 6s. It was going from a 100% charge to about 70-80% less than one hour after unplugging a charging cable; and then to about 30-40% less than a half hour later.I ordered this new battery, and my phone is like brand new! I go to bed at night and leave it unplugged for 8-10 hours and it still has 90-95% charge. I use it running several apps, including mobile hotspot for music streaming on another iPhone and it doesn't need a charge for at least 3-4 hours.In addition, the battery was ridiculously easy to install. Caution: iPhones are VERY fragile and require patience to open and work on. I had the YouTube video playing on my laptop screen while I changed the battery and had no problems at all. I was done within 20 minutes and that's just because Apple intentionally makes it difficult to work on its devices so that you have to bring it to an Apple store (sorry, not today!). The screws are almost microscopic, but work on a dark surface and be careful and you'll be fine.Highly recommend this product.

Changing this battery is easier than open heart surgery, but not by much. I suggest you lay the screws in the order you take them out. They are not all the same. Watch a you tube video but like me you may have to keep stopping it as you go. You need two strong suction cups to get the phone a part. I plan on putting one of the cup in a vice next time. That is one of the hard steps. The other is getting all the connectors properly seated. Everything inside the phone is frightfully tiny. Except for the cups the kit is well put together and the battery seems to be working great.

The kit comes with everything you'll need to complete the battery replacement. This is the first time I've had an iPhone open before. The video guide includes step by step instructions that are clear and easy to follow. As for the longevity of the battery that remains to be witnessed but the battery had a half charge as the installation instructions said it would. The only thing missing from the instructional video was the installation of the new adhesive gasket for the screen. It's pretty easy to figure out so not a big deal but it would be helpful if they had included that in the instructions. The instructions imply that the old adhesive gasket is to be used. That's not a good idea because it will tear upon opening and really should be replaced. Overall a very good kit and worth the price. Apple will charge around $100+ to replace the battery.

I didn’t report on battery longevity since I just installed it, but I’ll report back in a few weeks. This is a complete kit. I mean every single thing you need. Quality tools: magnetic screw tool, 3 magnetic bits, exactly the ones you need, excellent sharp spudger, better tweezers than my pro tool kit go figure, 2 adhesive strips, a new gasket seal, the works. Highest quality tool set I’ve ever seen & I’ve changed a lot of batteries.It’s an upgraded design from Apple’s cheap dies-a-lot battery. The second I powered up my iPhone 6s increased by 50% in speed.YAY.Absolutely worth the money, great price & a real surprise about the quality. All my other battery “kits” never had the screw bits & metal magnetic screwdriver base.The tiny screws in the iPhone 6s require precision tools for you to have any chance of completing the procedure.Battery replacement is a pain in the a** but with this kit & some patience, most people who are not afraid of tech can do this repair. They also include QR codes that lead to instructions. I only have one phone so I couldn’t use them. Plenty of excellent YouTube videos walk you through it. This kit is a winner.

I can’t prove it but if this is a upgraded battery I’m a monkeys uncle. Installation was great with the tools provided. First time I charged it it got pretty warm. I cycled it the way they instructed but my life is not much longer than the original battery (when it was newer) that it replaced. Better than the 5yr old battery performance but not by a lot. Paid extra (more than comparable batteries on AMZ) to get a more powerful “upgraded” mah but it’s not delivering. Better than I had but not what I expected.

My iPhone 6s said the battery needed "service" (Settings > Battery > Battery Health) and would die quickly. I bought this to replace the battery myself and the replacement process went very smoothly.I've been using my phone with the replaced battery for a couple weeks now. This battery has a greater capacity and obviously lasts longer than the original. It probably lasts longer than it did when I first bought the phone, but it's hard to say since it has been so long. However, I can say it is definitely a noticeable difference.I can even leave my phone unplugged overnight and lose only 1% on the battery (I even lost 0% while unplugged once).Important note: this does not include the tools needed. I already owned iFixit's toolset, and I used JerryRigEverything's tutorial on YouTube. I highly recommend that tutorial. Be aware that batteries can be dangerous and you should follow a tutorial like I did.The text printed on the battery is upside-down compared to apple's original battery, but it makes no difference and fits perfectly.Also, to make sure it's clear and to protect others from fraud: I bought the 2600mAh battery for iPhone 6s from Wavypo.
