Q: Will this work for the 1080 p version?

I think it is the same hardware. 1080P is just the resolution that the lens and the electronic can take in and present the image. The physical bracket should be the same. If the camera can generate 1080P, why do 720? It is a step backward in my opinion. I already seen 4K on the market already.
