Mucus Relief DM Cough, Guaifenesin 400 mg Dextromethorphan HBr 20 mg, 60 Tablets

I was having such thick nasal drainage I couldn't cough it out. An urgent care physician recommended guaifenesin. The problem is it usually comes in liquid form with other ingredients too. I found this on Amazon. I take it a couple times a day when I start to feel choked up. I'm so grateful for the relief I feel in not too many minutes!

I've been looking for dextromethorphan that doesn't have red dye in it, and these tablets are white. Even though this has guaifenesin in it (which I don't "need"), it doesn't harm me in any way, so I'm pleased. I have chronic pain, and research has shown that NMDA receptor antagonists (of which dextromethorphan is one) can help lessen pain by blocking glutamate. It also makes me calmer, especially if I take it sporadically. This is an excellent product at an excellent price. Will be purchasing again, and from this company.

These are pills you swallow, so flavor is n/a. Hubby and I both have colds and these are helping considerably, especially helping us to sleep by stopping the post nasal drip and constant nose blowing we have to do!! Highly recommend.. Very good value over name brand.

The product works the tablets are very dry and are not coated so if you need that to swallow them don't get these. But they do work and they're cheaper than the dollar store or CVS or Walmart. Also these contain guaifenesin 400 mg I don't think that was clear anywhere on here.

Works better than mucinex and is 1/4 of the price

Comparable to Mucinex DM. Very good tablets, easy to swallow. Really great deal. This product helps with relieving congestion and it's a cough suppressant.

The title of this listing stated this product was "Dextromethorphan". So I bought it thinking it was "Dextromethrophan". After getting it though, and taking a dose, I developed diarrhea. Then I read the actual ingredients. Turns out it also contains "Guaifenesin" which always gives me diarrhea. Dextromethorphan, the title ingredient, doesn't give me diarrhea. I bought it for what the seller said it was - the single component drug Dextromethorphan. I threw it into the garbage for what it really was - a combination drug containing the very product I was trying to avoid. Fortunately I found another seller who wasn't trying to be deceptive, and I was able to buy pure Dextromethrophan. So, now my coughing is well controlled, but best of all, I don't spend half the day in the bathroom stinking up the house and annoying my girlfriend.

Med is effective and was cost neutral. Pill is larger than I prefer. Not as drying as most. I would purchase again.
