Too thin
The mate gourd was alright, it’s beautiful but it has two problems.First is way to thin the gourd so when you put the hot water you can touch the gourd cause it’s way to hot to have it in the hand. Second, it’s way to fragile, it’s true that is hand made but the pumpkin is so fragile they should made a better and thicker gourd so it won’t burn the hand at the time of pouring the water

Great mate
This is only after curing and the first drink. The mate is gorgeous, stands well, and is perfect size. This is a natural product so specific care is needed. Also make sure your water is not too hot. Cured this for only 12 hours which allowed a through scraping. Just used old yerba and 170 F water. No cracks so far and yerba is delicious from this. Nice bombilla included that fits well. After this session i will let this dry on its side for a couple days before use to avoid mold. Mold would not be seller’s fault regardless. Its a squash so its kinda prone to that if not careful.

Mate Yerba Gourd
So beautiful, what an experian to use this product with mate yerba. This is a genuine gourd with a pattern on it.Make sure your clean and dry it out each time as it can go moldy.
