Comp SE 26 inch Vuelta Zerolite Hubs ATB Wheel Set for Rim Brakes

These wheels make my old bike look new and expensive. The wheels came straight and true out of the box. They almost got five stars, but these are a lot heavier than they look, heavier than the originals. They are pretty.

I was excited to get these wheels but the excitement changed as soon as I picked them up from FedEx yesterday afternoon. The wheels were not well protected within the box and the box was in bad shape (the outward appearance of the wheels, however, seemed good). I spun the front wheel but it was not smooth. I cleaned and lubed the hub which resolved the issue. It was very smooth after a little bit of work. Then I spun the rear wheel and there was grinding. I thought I'd re-pack the rear hub and get the same result but the hub was cracked/chipped (see photo). The cones were a little damaged as well. Overall, I'm very disappointed and will not bother using these.

Took the stickers off and loved the look. Were very strait and think they might have been lighter than my old rims. Added a new cog and was riding in 20 mins. Anyway have no regrets about buying these.

Have not yet go the wheels but I will give a high review based on the shimano hubs and the fact they are machined face and doubke walled wheels. Building a 92 gt was hard due to finding doubke wall wheels that were 26 inch and v brake compatible

Seemingly a good wheel set, but, the layer of filth on the wheels is unacceptable.

I have put several hundred miles on these rims as a commuter bike, I would buy them again if I needed another set of rims

Nice light weight affordable wheels, they came straight and true. They make a good upgrade for a budget build.
