No Tools Original Blackout Pleated Paper Shade Black, 36 in x 72 in, 6 Pack

For a quick fix, these blackout shades are perfect. We live in downtown Phoenix and just installed our first two shades. The rest go up tomorrow. Not a lifetime solution, but are an ideal product for the price. Easy to install, look good and they block out the sun. Very happy with purchase.

Used to make the nursery dark. The blinds definitely block out the light. The only light that sneaks in is due to the uneven cutting of the blinds on my part. Make sure you use sharp scissors or utility knife. I have blackout curtains that block the little bits that sneak in and hide the blinds as they aren’t super attractive(but I don’t think that’s their purpose!), but they get the job done and are reasonably priced as 6 blinds come in the package.

Does exactly as stated. Easy to cut to size and put up, strong sticky strip adequate for the job and it blocks out the light really well.I've removed a star for the cost. You receive what is essentially 6 large pieces of folded paper with a strip of double sided tape on one end. I had the impression (or made the assumption) that this could be raised when needed, but that's not the case.

These easy-to-install, affordable blinds are perfect for making my bedroom darker (I bought the black ones). Unfortunately, as my bedroom window gets the afternoon sun, and black absorbs heat, both appear to compromise the adhesive strip, causing the blinds to fall down on a near daily basis, especially if/when there is extra weight applied to the bottoms, using the plastic clips. They also fall WITHOUT extra weight.Again, I suspect the direct sunlight/heat in MY window melts the adhesive to the point of losing its grip. I have some double sided tape to help reinforce the adhesive now. No big deal.

My situation is a little peculiar: I rent my home. The blinds in the home were half junk when we moved in. My cats much further destroyed them, lol. I don't care what it looks like. There is NO way I'm about to drop a bunch of $$ on blinds in a house I don't own. Sometimes we like it dark in here during the day, but my larger concern was ppl being able to see in at night due to the cats wrecking them so badly. A large part of my art studio space involves drying flowers, which must also be kept up, away from the kitteh bebes.The blinds are flimsy and a bit shorter than my windows (I didn't bother to measure and I'm fine with that). The material is like a sort of reinforced paper, maybe? I was QUITE worried about having to remove all of my flowers, or ruining them. Hanging the blind was EASIER THEN I COULD HAVE IMAGINED. I got right around and under the delicate flowers and it stuck firmly right onto the top piece of the broken blinds behind them with no damage whatsoever. The clips are simple and work perfectly; they easily clip to just the bottom edge, or securely hold the blind folded up together. The blind blocks the view in, and the light out.I love them. I'm so happy with them. I didn't want to spend much money bc I expected them to be junk, so it's just a huge added bonus that 6 came in the pack at such a fantastic price. High recommend if you're not going for fancy.
