I first saw the Coleman Stacker Portable Cooler at a party, and knew it was exactly the type of cooler I was looking for, for our own parties. I ended up ordering two of them and we have already gotten a lot of use out of them!We have a lot of different coolers, but it is the shape and size of this cooler that I really like.- It's the perfect depth for canned beverages, while still allowing room for ice.- Also because the cooler isn't very deep, it works very well for holding prepared meals, snack trays, fruit bowls, etc. I just line the cooler with ice, place the food bowls in the ice, then pop the lid on. When it's time for the party, I just remove the lid and everyone can help themselves to the chilled food inside.- I love that the lid is removable, versus a hinged lid. This allows you to remove the lid when using the coolers for parties, like I mentioned above.- I like that the lid is flat, so it can serve as a table. And, because the lid is flat, it also allows you to stack multiple coolers together, which takes up a lot less space in the back of a vehicle when transporting. The coolers were made to stack, so one fits inside the lid of the other very nicely.- The size of the cooler also allows the cooler to fit in spaces where other coolers are too tall for. For example, we use the cooler often on the bottom shelf of a rolling cart when we have parties. Just lift the lid to access the contents of the cooler - no need to have to pull the cooler off the shelf to use it. (The photos show these coolers being used on our Snack Bar Cart for our last Outdoor Movie Night Party).The cooler definitely keeps things chilled for a long time, so it is well insulated.We've also used the cooler to hold hot appetizers and snacks until party time. While the food may not be quite as hot as when it first came out of the oven, it does stay warm enough to eat the food while it's still warm.The cooler is very easy to carry with the comfortable side handles, so that is a bonus also.The ONLY downside of this cooler is - I wish it were available in all white. Because we use the coolers for parties, an all-white cooler would look much better with any decor, would look more professional for catered events, and definitely more elegant for dinner parties. Color is a minor thing, BUT.... I would even pay extra to have THIS particular cooler in all-white. Hmmmmm.... maybe I'll try painting the coolers I have.This size stacker cooler is kind of hard to find, and when you do find it, it is often priced higher than the manufacturer suggested retail price. This makes me wonder if this size has been discontinued by Coleman (it's been marked as unavailable on their website for a long time). I sure hope it hasn't been discontinued - I might need to order another one. ;-)Get the cooler! You'll be happy you did!

This cooler is just the right size for my car, but it is very pricey!!! I use it when I go picnic or camping. I love the size of it, fits so well in the trunk of my Mazda 3. I wish the price is a bit lower.

I don't use this to keep beer cold. I use this to rest my brisket and other meats that I smoke. After a 12-18 hour smoke, I wrap in towels and insert in the cooler. Works perfect. Doesn't let air in. The best part is that it has a small footprint and is easily transportable. My last brisket rested for 4+ hours inside this thing and was still piping hot when I sliced it. Totally recommend it. The maximum size brisket I have put in here was 15 pounds (pre trim). It may hold a slightly larger brisket, but not by much.
