My favorite for gallery work, portfolio prints and leave-behinds
Master of Fine Arts photography student writing. If I could give this paper 10 stars I would and I would trust my thesis work to no other. It's the best fine art luster out there in my opinion (although Hahnemühle categorizes it as "glossy"). Beautiful ink gloss, especially in the blacks which pop out nicely. Texture and tactility are amazing. Lies down nice and flat unless the atmospheric humidity is low (I expose the prints to steam in the bathroom to flatten during the winter when the heat dries up the air and problem solved). The color temperature is a natural white, leaning to the bright white a little bit. Great to use with Epson professional printers like the 7900 or the 9900 lines with the UPLPP icc for proofing (I print a lot of warm b/w). Although I would use its own ICC or a calibrated one for color. With its nice, thick 325gsm weight... treat it with a coat of Renaissance Wax for an out-of-this-world tactile and visual experience. I **always** get compliments from portfolio reviewers handling HFAB waxed prints. Emphasis on always. I've been using it for a couple of years now, tried others, and have never looked back yet. Cons: Ink density is more noticeable (unless you wax it, then all bronzing magically goes away) and handle with care as it is prone to pizza cutter marks. Slightly shiny but just the right amount of wrong.

Favorite inkjet paper, by a mile.
One of my favorite papers to print on. I just wish my HP Z3200 wasn't such a weenie, because it doesn't love the heavy weight and curl of the FineArt Baryta 325gsm... Friends in the industry seem to have a different experience with their Epson and Canon printers, just know on an HP you may have to take particular care when printing from about the half-way point in the roll to ensure that you can really print and won't just be spraying ink onto the sponge things... When I get to that point in the roll I have to take special care when loading, sort of pushing the paper in when the wheels just want to keep spinning, then it finally feeds it and does its thing, sometimes then spitting it back out and making me do it over... THEN I had to make sure to feed out just a little more paper before I begin printing to avoid aforementioned issue. Point being, if I go through all that to use this paper, it must be damned good right? If you've never experience this paper before, do know that you should expect a bit of a reflection as it is technically a glossy paper, but it's nowhere near as bad as a glossy or lustre RC paper. I love this paper both for color and for bw prints.
