I have four rambunctious boxers and a 7 lb chihuahua. This door changed my life. It took two times to show them how it worked and they picked it up right away. No more getting up every ten minutes to let someone in or out. The boxers fit through just fine, and it's sturdy enough to handle them flying through (sometimes they attempt to fit through together! LOL) The chihuahua has absolutely no problem getting through it. The magnets work well in keeping the door closed and the "door lock" slides in easily. SUPER easy to install. No cutting holes in doors or walls. If you have a window that's low to the ground, this is the perfect dog door. Love this dog door!

We have 2 huskys and 1 seventy pound lab mix. Works great will all three dogs. They didn't like the flap so we trained them with treats. Now they come and go. Easy install. Everything came assembled. You let window up, take screen off, put in window track, turn knobs to tighten in window, pull window down and you are set. Easy. Worth every penny.

UPDATE: Feb 2021- The door is still a critical part of owning animals for our family. We were able to replace the plastic swing door as it was very dirty and dingy. The magnetic closure on the bottom was still working fine but I'm an aesthetics kind of girl. I care what things look like. I'm sure it could have been cleaned but it was so easy to just replace and looked good as new. We use the locking door occasionally when my husband is hunting to keep the animals inside. It is easy and quick to slide in and out. We now have 3 cats and the German shepherd who use it consistently. It has allowed us to eliminate cat litter boxes entirely which I'm forever thankful for. Our youngest (and wildest) cat does bring in mice and baby moles from time to time. We live deep in the woods and have had no other surprise visitors come in the door. I can fit through it (don't ask me how I know this) at 5'5" 165# but it requires some maneuvering. With our very protective dog and security cameras, I'm unconcerned with this but it could be relevant to others. Any version smaller than the XL would not allow an adult through. Still loving our doggy door and will surely repurchase if it becomes necessary.This door has been perfect for our family. We have 3 indoor/outdoor pets; a cat, a Bichon, and a fast-growing German Shepherd puppy (65 lbs at 5 months). They all learned to use it quickly and love it. We installed it so that the animals go out into our fenced area. It was quite easy and quick to install although we did add some tape around the edges where the seal was weaker and light was coming through. I'm sure there is some loss of heating/cooling but it's a compromise we were willing to make to avoid accidents while we're gone. The product is well made. Very sturdy metal frame. Comes with a plastic sleeve to close it off. We actually haven't used this at all. I would certainly buy it again if needed.

The media could not be loaded.  I am a real purchaser and this is my first Amazon review—I am usually way too busy as a mom & business owner to stop and write reviews. But this product has impressed me so much and made our lives so much easier that I am making the time—especially since I rely so heavily on reviews before purchasing. We desperately needed a doggie door bc we are often gone overnight for baseball tournaments. Getting a dog sitter for only 1 night became a huge pain. Other dog doors weren’t an option bc our walls are solid windows—no room for one without messing up our home’s architecture. Found this and was not very optimistic that it would work, but it was cheaply priced enough that it was worth a try. I LOVE it!! It was very easy to install and required no tools! My teenage son and I had this installed within 10-15min. You can most likely do it with 1 person, but it was handy to have an extra set of hands to untighten then tighten the knobs when positioning it—it’s spring loaded to adjust perfectly to your window size. Our window is only 12” off the ground, so finding “stairs” for our dog has been the only challenge—so we stacked some carpeted furniture movers on top of each other to the right height on the inside and made some stairs with cinder blocks on the outside. Our medium size labradoodle is not that tall, but she is very wide—about 13-14”, so we got the extra large door. Very glad we did because she also has a bum leg that has limited range of motion and the extra room allows her to get through the door with it sticking out a little.With treats and words of encouragement our dog learned to use the door within an hour! It has been such a blessing!We live in Texas and even in the summer we haven’t really noticed hot air getting in. It was easy to remove when a hurricane was headed our way, and we quickly put it back the next day.As far as safety, I’m sure some one could kick it in if they wanted, but it’s in our gated back yard and we live in a quiet neighborhood. This is a genius of a product and I highly recommend it!

This is absolutely the perfect set up for people that use a window for a pet door. It is so simple to install and once your dog or cat get use to using it the door gives them the freedom to come and go. The installation could not be simpler, simply open the window, slide it in place and close the window on top of it. It comes with a foam seal that you can put between the window and the top of the unit but my window already had a rubber seal on it so I didn’t need it. You also should consider window locks to lock you window in place. This will prevent anyone from opening it and getting in your house. The solid door that slides in place is sturdy and a added plus. Overall great value for your money and solved my issues of letting the dog out all day long.

We just had new windows put in and needed a new pet door for one of our windows. This not only fit perfectly(obviously this is per case, just stating in my case), it’s made extremely well. Glad to see there are still companies who take pride in their product. Easiest 5 star I’ve given on amazon.

This product is exceptionally well made, serves its intended purpose and is very easy to install. Highly recommend!Measurements: The product descriptions on Amazon could be worded better, but I promise you the product is great. I had to return one because the measurement wasn’t specified in the Amazon listing and I received a size too wide for my window. Make sure you look at the title of the product and buy the one with the width number that fits your needs (in this case 27). The night is the same for all widths and is based on the size of the dog flap you order.
