King Size Divan Bed Frame | Grey Chenille Fabric 5FT King Bed Base with 20” High Cube Headboard & 2 Storage Drawers (150 x 200 cm)

It takes a lot for me to write a review but I felt like I needed to with this bed. It’s fantastic, does the job and the head board looks stunning. If anybody leaves a bad review for this bed this which is less that £200 then they need a reality check. You would need to pay at least three times the price for a head board which looks similar so I’m very chuffed, and I’m a carpenter so I can appreciate the product at this value.

I really love how it looks in my room, I love the drawers on the side so much, helps me feel more organised.I am glad they put 2 holes in the headboard, as I had to forego the top hole to make it taller as it was too short with my mattress.My mattress is like 20cm maybe, but it couldn't go all way in if I bolted both holes in the headboard, so I only bolted the bottom hole. It worried me a little if it was less secure, but I had no issues so far with it. Sometimes it will slightly tilt to the side, but only by like 1 inch at most, I just tilt it back!Edit to add: changed to 4 stars, the headboard has to have both bolts, otherwise it slants and one of my wooden beams did fracture due to it.This wouldn't be an issue, but since it's very low it pushes the mattress from it's ideal position, unless you have a 5cm mattress lol, so not a 5/5 for me.

Good quality at such a reasonable price, easy to assemble considering there are no instructions supplied.

Had to keep this product as we were needing a bed as we binned our old one , for this thing to arrive , missing screws for headboard , runner not on drawer & base broke at bottom , 2 drawers at the one side when they should be either side , very poor quality all round

PROS:Colour is nice.Sturdy base.Comfortable to sit on the bed using the headboard for back support.Drawers open and close nicely, adding a good amount of storage.Cheap.CONSNo instruction whatsoever.Feet are so ugly and flimsy.No wholes pre-made to insert headboard which is absolutely ridiculous. Had to use scissors first to make a hole in the fabric before inserting screw.No instructions anywhere, feet kept coming out until we tried to push them in hard and they clicked into place.The headboard moves, no matter how tight the screws are?!?No handle to open the drawers, they must be opened from underneath which is not particularly hygienic.

The bed base splits into two which is great but the two drawers aren't on the end section as per the picture. There is one drawer in each section so rather than both drawers being accessible at the end, one is unusable because it is blocked by the bedside table.Also the picture shows a kind of bracket that joins the two bases together but there is no such bracket. It is just held together by two very insuffient plastic clips underneath.The customer service beforehand was terrible. I live in a house, my bedroom is upstairs and, despite me asking them 3 times if they would take it upstairs, they just kept replying telling me what they do if I live in a flat and there was no lift so my question remained unanswered. As it turned out, the delivery man would only deliver to my hallway so, as a single mother, myself and my 10 year old daughter had to struggle to get it up the stairs which wasn't the best. The man would have taken it upstairs if I had given him £20 but I had no cash on me so it wasn't an option.All in all, for the price, it's ok, it does the job. But it isn't the same as the pictures so I am a bit disappointed.

I spent a long time looking for the bed I was wanted that was in my budget and was a bit nervous about this one as was cheap but I love it. Really good quality, easy to put together- drawers all built. It’s higher than I expected which is fantastic. Delivery was two days later than Amazon said but they carried it up two flights of stairs for me without a fuss

This base was bought for my granddaughter and she says it’s much more comfy with her mattress and it doesn’t squeak when she moves or gets out of it👍🏻.
