But one question that always remained unanswered was how they furnished those buildings and houses? We could also question the impact of such a movement, that culminated with the building of an entire modernist city (Brasilia), on Brazilian interior design as well. Aric Chen is finally bringing those answers to the English readers, and this work will be highly prized by anyone interested in modernism, furniture, design, Brazil, etc. It's really fascinating to see the contrast of grace and robustness of some pieces, I could not put this book aside until finished. This book is amazing if not historical. The only reference you will have on Brazilian designers with enough pictures and detailed information.
