This lodge cast iron pan works as advertised!
What I did not like about the round 10.25 inch Lodge cast iron frying pan was as follows: there were tiny holes on the surface of the pan and it did not belong to the wildlife series, unlike the picture shown in the website.What I liked though, was, that it was nicely seasoned. However I did wash it with soap and water after which I dried and re-seasoned it and used it to just fry an egg by way of putting it to use. I am happy to report that the pan heats up quite evenly and quickly and the egg I cooked, did not stick to the pan.On the whole, I am a little disappointed still, that it did not have the wildlife etching at the back!I had thought while purchasing the pan, that it would be a bigger version of the 6.5 inch wolf pan I had purchased earlier.Online purchases can be quite disappointing these days!

But it didn't have any USA flag tag on the handle. Hope it is not a second copy.As far as the price is concerned it's bit costly than other Indian brands that manufactures the same.I'd say go for it. Hoping to buy Deep Skillet soon.PS: The food cooked is CellRhotee...a traditonal food of Nepalese.

Nature Series-must have as part of the collection
Picked this up as a wedding gift for a family friend. Made a set of 4 which covers breakfast,lunch and dinner . Not new to Lodge Castiron cookware and have a decent collection. Built to last a lifetime if some basic instructions are followed.

10.5 inch skillet with no lodge tag came in plastic Amazon cover. Fake . Too rough surface..
Returned piece.. saw the same piece, with the same defect in the review by another customer.
