MOSISO Compatible with MacBook Pro 13 inch Case (Model: A1278, with CD-ROM) Old Version Release Early 2012/2011/2010/2009/2008, Protective Plastic Hard Shell Case Cover, Midnight Green

I'm in my last few semesters in college and I had a classmate who absolutely loved this. When I told her how much I paid and where I got it, she asked if I would order her one. This beats my Spek case by a mile. I am not hard on my laptop but when it is inside my backpack, you can never guarantee if someone will trip over the bag or mishandle it when not looking. After spending SOOO much money (for me as a college student and having an upcoming wedding to pay for) on my first MacBook, I was willing to spend whatever I had to on a case. I am always looking for the next best thing and I feel as though I found it. This is smooth and elegant but also protects it from damage. The bottom knobs that keep it from sliding do not come off like the others. The corners do not randomly crack. My only complaint would be on how the top attracts oils and any finger prints. I naturally have oily skin so when I don't pay attention there is a weird film that stays on it. Any suggestions on this would help. I've tried lysol wipes, windex, damp cloth, etc.

This is by far the best laptop case I've gotten for my Mid-2012 Macbook Pro.I was previously using a rubberized case from GMYLE, but I didn't like the rubberized after a while because it gets gross. The rubberized finish really holds oils and ink smudges. The rubberized finish also scratches off fairly easily, showing the glossy plastic underneath.This case is exactly what I was looking for and even more! I was wanting just a simple, smooth plastic case. This case is far better, though. It has no finish on it that can scratch off, yet it does have a matte look and feel. It feels great and I am confident it will not show signs of use easily, if ever!This case is also really nice in how clear the logo shines through. I know that's a big deal for some people, and I cannot express nor capture in a photo how crisp the logo shows through!!! (And I even have the BLACK color in this case!)I will definitely be buying this case when I want a change again. There's so many great color options to choose from, too!Also, I can't believe I didn't realize this before, but you can totally mix-and-match colors of this case because it's two pieces. So you could have a different color for the top and bottom which is really cool! (How cool would it be to do a Pokéball look with a red top and white bottom?)Again, I highly recommend this case because of its look and feel. PERFECT!

I liked the rubbery finish of my old Incipio case better. It was easier to grip. I run around with my laptop at work a lot. This one is smooth and slippery. But I don't care about the look so a few strips of gaff tape will make it plenty grippy. Case seems solid, but the back corners are exposed. My old case had more coverage. This case is fine. I don't love it, but it seems like it's good enough to protect my MB while sliding it around tables and in and out of my bag. No comment on durability as I just got it but for what I plan to put it through the plastic seems like it will outlast the macbook at this point.

After using my old clear cover until it was cracking, I decided it was time for a new clear case for my 2012 MacBook Pro (Non-Retina).This one came with spare rubber feet in case mine go missing I guess, which is a nice gesture.The color is clear, but has a light blue reflection in the sunlight, which I actually like. It feels a bit softer than my old one, but not in the rubberized kind of way. Less stiff, like it will last longer than my old one.I'm a bit torn on the fit. It snaps into place and I'm not worried about it denting or stressing my MBP, but it doesn't fit as snugly as my last one, and it seems that debris gets into it more easily than I'd like. I also have a habit I assume most people don't worry about, but I like putting pictures and stickers between the lid and case, and have the case hold the pieces in place so I have the ability to change out the pieces at will. Due to the slight lack of snugness, the pieces fall to the bottom of the case. This is probably something that noone else will have to consider before purchasing this case, but I thought I would mention it just in case.The case definitely doesn't feel like it's about to fall off. I would suggest this case to others who are in need of a clear case for their old MBP :)I'll probably end up taping down the design pieces so I don't have to worry about them falling around the case.

It fits very well and product is exactly as described, although my computer is a little heavier, I feel like my mac is very safe now 😊

I had been using another case for my 2012 MBP and was looking for a change. The other case has some cracks and served me well. I came across this case and ordered Navy for something different, my old case is clear. This fits perfectly, easily installed and seems quite solid for what it is. I have access to every one of my ports, CD and power indication lights. Other than the smell (which I assume will dissipate over time) this thing is perfect. I like the matte finish on it. I can't speak to durability since I just received just yet, but I expect it to hold up well.

I just needed something to keep deep scratches from the metal body of the laptop. Instead this plastic, yes, plastic body cover is chipping to pieces every once and awhile. It hasn't even lasted a year. I would suggest a body cover made of some kind of rubber rather than thin plastic. I miss my old body kit, but it was looking worn. Thing takes scratches dings like a fragile dry plant leaf. The under body kit slides off as well because there is no retaining grip in the back. Finally, the white feet, although the body kit is black, had to be crazy glued back on. What a mess!

Had to replace my prior case that I had for four years due to wear. It was a clear plastic case that I also purchased from Amazon that replaced a black case I had for several years. So this time, I decided to go with a color. I chose the navy blue because my wife has always said I look really good in navy blue apparel so now my laptop will complement my overall appearance when I'm dressed in blue! It went on easy and the packaging of it by the seller for protection was excellent. I really like the navy blue color and glad I chose it. I'm confident its durability will be as good as my clear case was.

It feels nice and smooth, I don’t think it’s quite worth the money though, I feel like it should be at least £8-£10. I feel like it’s always coming off my laptop and I have to put it back in place, it should also have a cut out of the Apple logo so you can see it better, I did know this but I thought I should say this so they can improve for next time, and it is see through so bear that in mind if you have any stickers on it you can see them. Overall it’s okay but i don’t think it’s worth £18

I've had Mac laptops for 15 years now, just replaced the ancient and cracked (but good, and expensive) Speck one I bought from the Apple Store 5 years ago with one of these. The plastic has a slight blue tint to it if you look at it from the side which is a bit odd at first, but I quite like that now. It's tough and fits fine though. Good value for money.

Makes my macbook looks so cute! Love the soft, pastel pink colour. Protect my laptop well and gives it a nice feel. Nicely ventilated at the bottom too. Easy to clip on and off. Easy to just wipe down if needed, doesn't really get dirty though but marks do come off it easily if they do get on it.

Worried at first that I could get the bottom to stay attach, but that was sorted relatively quickly when I realised I needed to let it clip in. Bought MOSISO Laptop Shoulder Bag Briefcase to go with it and the two together is a bit of a tight fit, but it does get in and that's probably the cover is a matt finish so does slide in as it does without this cover.Great product though. :)

It's a cheap product, so keep manage your expectations.Looks good, excessive packaging as always with Amazon which is annoying. In addition, the products 'snaps on / off' however, it doesn't effectively snap on on all sides, so some sides the product will pull away from the laptop. Aesthetically, it's ok. Some areas totally snap on and are secure. Other sides don't snap on at all, just fall away... probably better to spend an extra £10 and get a good case
