These are the best caramels out there. We used to live close to where they make them in MT and got hooked on them locally. The company is great, too--I used to work for a nonprofit up there and they donated caramels for our silent auction (a very popular item!).The caramel is smooth and sultry--if caramel can be such a thing. I've had other caramels that claim to be the best and yet they're filled with sugary grit--gross! Bequet caramels are perfectly smooth. The only grit you'll get in them is a little sea salt in this delicious Celtic Sea Salt flavor.I sent a bag to my grandmother for her birthday and she raved about them. She said she had to keep them in the freezer to make them last longer!

I am a die hard caramel lover. As such, I’m super particular about my caramels. Becquet Caramels have been our go-to caramels for years now. The Sea Salt classic caramels are amazing and, when they were available, the multi-flavor packs were excellent, as well.The caramels are soft, but have excellent stretch and are slightly toothsome (though not sticky enough to remove dental work!). The sea salt crystals are perfect and enhance the buttery caramel flavor just right.If you prefer caramels that are a touch chewy and that you can bite into and pull away into a pound t like a soft taffy, these are the ones you need!So good.

Bequets are the best! I used to live in the area where they're made in Montana, which is how I discovered them. They're smooth and delicious. The Celtic Salt ones are the best, but the rest are delicious too. The small variety packs make great gifts!Bequet is also a good company. When I lived in MT I worked for a nonprofit, and they'd donate some caramels for my nonprofit's silent auction fundraiser. Everyone in the area knew how delicious they are so they always brought in a good bid!

Have been purchasing these Montana-made caramels for a few years now. With all the locations our family has lived at for the past 15-years, this brand of caramel far surpasses them all in taste. There's a caramel out of Wisconsin that comes very, very close, but Bequet still reigns #1 in our household. This is, undoubtedly, an incredible recipe. If anyone has tried a better tasting caramel out there, please let us all know, because up to now, Bequet is the creamiest, melt-in-your-mouth caramel we've ever tasted.

Ok so these are the BEST caramels! I love these and they are just the best special treat. I like to get them in bulk and ship a couple to friends when I send out packages. The only issue I have is that these tend to be melted together. I've ordered this larger package a couple times, and every time it comes a good third of them are too melted (coming out of the individual packaging and fusing with others) to send or share in a sanitary way. It makes them messy to eat or keep around. I'm guessing they're coming from Amazon (not directly from the maker) and Amazon is letting them melt too much? But outside of the too melty over flow mess, these are hands down my favorite caramels.

I'm a former pastry chef and chocolatier, and I try and tell people that it now means I know what products I want to buy instead of make on my own because they've already been perfected. These caramels fall into that category. They're chewy but smooth - meaning they're beautifully cooked without the sugar crystallizing the way that many homemade caramels do - and they're dotted with delicious salt throughout. They're not bitter, but they're cooked enough to avoid the overwhelming sweetness that most mass-produced caramels have (Werther's comes to mind - the number of chemicals in their formula would make your head spin, and the caramel is just a color). I've been buying Bequet since 2011, when I had to hunt down their website from a wrapper. I'm just so happy they're now selling them through Amazon, because it makes my life easier.

While the caramels are delicious almost each piece had caramel oozing out of their wrapper. It made for very sticky fingers and several clumps of pieces sticking together. The actual wrapper could be removed easily once you were able to get it unwrapped so the caramel was not stuck to the inside of the plastic as it was to the outside. Not something you would put in a candy bowl.

These were on a table at a new years party, I took one home and had it later in the week. I can only imagine what crack cocaine is like. These are addicting, after one piece I went to Whole foods and bought them out. Now I can get my fix on with out leaving the house! Thanks Amazon Prime!Update: the individual pieces are large, you can cut these into two pieces and still be the same size a drug store bulk caramels.
