FKG AC Compressor Clutch Assembly Repair Kit 38810RRBA01, 38810RNAA02 fit for 2006-2011 Honda Civic 1.8L

My 09 civic AC went out and found out it was the magnet. If you are replacing from OEM to this kit I recommend using the OEM shims and not the ones included in this kit! So far I have had no issues. Also the OEM pulley diameter is different size than aftermarket one so if you intend to use this kit swap everything.

This kit was great. It fit well and seems to be made from quality materials. The only thing wrong was the washers supplied have too big a centre hold so they do not sit flat when doing up the nut. I just used the original washer and this sorted the problem.

I was told that the a/c compressor and clutch on my 2007 Honda Civic 1.8L were one assembly and had to be replaced as one. I found some YouTube videos that showed that to be false. I ordered this clutch and it fit perfect. Just reuse your snap rings because theirs don’t fit. DON’T USE THEIR SHIMS! They are oversized and will get off center when you tighten the clutch down. This causes the clutch to strike the pulley and you’ll have to take it back off and find some other shims. I used one washer that ended up being the exact size I needed. I tried the original first but it wasn’t thick enough. Use a feeler gauge to get the clearance needed. Mine was .013 thousandths of an inch. You’ll also need a good set of snap ring pliers that are long and thin enough to reach all the way in there.

Got it installed by a licensed mechanic and now it’s making funny noises. Not spinning properly either. Spend about $250 in labour plus this part and no use. Useless product.Also no number to call them.Sent it for return and never heard from them. Now the return window is done. Dropped it off at their depot on time.

I used all the original o rings and also used a thick washer but other than that this kit is really good I used it on my both civics worked great .
