Love this playhouse! Such great quality, smells nice lol and my kids love it. It was a bit involved to put together... I dont think I could've done it & I'm fairly handy. Took my husband a few hours. The only negative... within a few weeks the door "lock" broke off so now we cant keep the door closed. Bums my kids out. Also DOESNT COME WITH FLOWER POTS you need to go buy some that fit perfectly.

We ordered this for our two year old. Our family spends a lot of time in our backyard and this play house is a wonderful addition to our yard. I am not fond of the way the big plastic play houses look, so I love that this is all wood! My husband found it very easy to put together, and it seems very sturdy. I feel like it is well worth the price, and I don't have to stare at a big heap of brightly colored plastic while having dinner on the patio. We absolutely love it and so does our daughter. We fully expect to still be using it when our youngest is old enough to begin playing in it with her sister (next year).

I got this for our outdoor classroom at work and it's beautiful! Aside from a few gaps in the wood (which may have occurred during the building process as I'm not the person who put it together) and a few knicks here and there it looks amazing! My 1-2 year olds love playing in the kitchen area and pretending to cook. The weather has been exceptionally nice so I'm not sure how it will look after the rainy months as it normally rains quite a bit in the pacific northwest but it has held up incredibly well to the hot weather we've had.I'd say this playhouse would work quite well for ages 1-4, maybe 5 or 6 if they are small. The interior is a little small, so it doesn't hold too many children at once and older children are quite cramped. 10 years old is really pushing it, as we had a 7-8 year old come in to play today and she had a very hard time and couldn't even stand in it.**EDITED TO ADD 9/16/2019** My kiddos have had a lot of fun with this playhouse. The rain hasn't been a problem at all. A few months ago one of the children pulled one of the supporting pieces from the inside of the roof. This has not effected the playhouse in any way and I'm sure it can be fixed, but I haven't tried. Then, the kitchen shelf piece came off. (I'm not sure how-one of the children probably leaned on it too hard or tried to climb out the window) I'm sure it can be fixed as well but we haven't got around to it. It's still quite useable as is. One of the older children broke one of the windowsills by climbing out of the window. Still, it works just fine and can probably be fixed. A couple weeks ago one of the older toddlers broke the door off. I've hated that door from the beginning, so that doesn't bother me and I'll keep it off.Keep in mind, this is a childcare with many children playing with this. I'm sure if you only had a few children playing with it that these things wouldn't be as much as a problem. That said, we are ordering another one so they won't all be using the same one at the same time and I will not be installing the door. (The children fight over keeping it open or closed and it's just more hassle than it's worth. I actually tied it open so they couldn't use it and I believe that's how it was broken as one of the older toddlers probably pulled too hard to try to dislodge it.)

I purchased this play house for my 1 year old daughter, and she LOVES it!!! She will walk in and out of it, play with the kitchen, and be laughing and screeching with joy for an hour straight! We do have a lot of additional toys that she plays with inside the house, but the house itself is what really brings the joy!It wasn’t hard to put it together, but it was fairly tedious. A lot of screws to screw in, and I screwed them all in by hand. I had read some reviews that stated that the wood would crack, and I could see if I used a powered driver, that could be very easy to do! There was one board that didn’t long up perfectly, so even when I screwed a screw in by hand, it was close enough to the edge that it started to crack, but it was t bad, and doesn’t affect the quality. (When working with wood and screws, you have to expect cracks from time to time)I assembled this inside my house. I was concerned that it was going to be very strong, being cedar, but it wasn’t too bad. It was really strong the first night, when I unleashed the cedar from the box, but after a few days, the smell was minimal, and after a week or so, it is non existent.

Took an hour or two to assemble. And you will definitely need a second person to help put it together but it wasn’t difficult. The instructions are pretty clear. We followed the advice someone gave on here of painting a water-proof sealant over the entire exterior. So far we’ve had this for an entire year and it has weathered the rain and snow just fine. Maybe touch it up with the sealant each year? Couldn’t hurt. It’s a super cute little playhouse and my 5 year old could hang out in there all day if we let her.

Absolutely love this little cottage. I looked at photo reviews as I always do and saw someone had the sweetest little set up so I got my inspiration from that. My daughter used to have those fisher price plastic houses but that didn't have much character. This little house gets so many compliments from everyone who sees it. It's the perfect size for her now at 2.5, and she can even fit a couple friends in at the same time. My husband put it together in a few hours and I feel it is well built. However due to it being outside and in the elements I noticed the wood starting to peel. Not a big deal but thought I'd mention it. Overall a very good purchase for the price!

Arrived quicker than expected. No defects in the box or materials like some other reviewers had issues with. It did take some time to put together, but once assembled this is a sturdy little house. We’ve only had it up since Christmas but expect it to withstand the weather (FL) and a toddler for quite some time. We laid mulch down around it, and outdoor recycled rubber “tiles” inside the house since it doesn’t have a floor. Love the flower pot holders. It’s a great little house compared to the much more expensive plastic ones.

Magnifique petite cabane, facile a monter , attention bois très fragile mais ca reste une cabane donc pas parfait ,...., vraiment ma fille adore et moi aussi. Espérons qu elle supporte les intempéries !

Good quality and decently easy to assemble with power tools. If you are planning to use this inside, it is finished with a stain NOT a varnish or other impervious finish. Since it is cedar, it is almost unbearably smelly and extremely irritating to my throat and eyes. You should plan to paint or clear coat it if you want to use it indoors.

Bought for my daycare business. Happy with quality. I gave it an extra coat of protective varnish though. The kids love it and I like that its real cedar and classier looking than plastic.
