Up and Running with Autodesk Advance Steel 2021: Volume 1

I bought volume 1 and 2 of "Up and Running with Autodesk Advance Steel 2021" a few months ago and I regret that I didn't buy it sooner. I wasted quite a lot of time trying to learn the basics and the Advance Steel 2021 Help Documentation wasn't that very helpful for beginners.This book is very hands-on oriented, which is perfect for those who wish to jump straight into Advance Steel without any prior knowledge of AS 2021 itself. Volume 1 deals with 3D modeling and each chapter contains modeling procedures for specific structural element or component as well as the relevant examples.. The author also provides his personal tips and tricks on several issues during modeling which may assist greatly in speeding up the modeling process.Aside from the book itself, the author also provides access to the tutorial videos and files related to each chapter. The videos themselves are very important because it visualizes the modeling process explained in the examples of each chapter.The author, Deepak Maini, has been very responsive and professional while answering my emails. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to understand 3D modeling in Advance Steel 2021 better.

Es una libro práctico, no escatima detalles pero tampoco exagera en la explicación de las herramientas. Así que leerlo se vuelve ligero. Me agrada que tenga dos tipos de ejercicios para cada capítulo uno orientado a estructuras de edificios y otro a estructuras industriales.
