Hercules Stands BS118BB EZ Grip Music Stand with Bag

This is by far the best portable stand I have purchased. It is very well constructed and is easy to unfold and fold back up in the nice case for transport. Very easy adjust for height. I use this in choir rehearsals that I am a member of and have used it for performance related events at my churches. A great buy.

My previous OnStage music stand wouldn't stay up & kept collapsing; and the music part couldn't hold heavy song books. This Hercules is so easy to adjust, stays up and does NOT collapse once extended, and it holds my music books. Wish I had this Hercules music stand sooner. I love its sturdiness. It's easy to set up. It's also easy to disassemble or fold up to fit in its carry bag.

I have just started to play the ukulele and needed a stand to take to my group. We are using an excellent book, The Daily Ukulele, which is very large and heavy. Most of the easily portable music stands are flimsy, worthless things. This stand is able to handle my heavy book, while it itself is both lightweight and sturdy. This one comes with a bag so it costs a bit more initially, than the ones without, but as the bag by itself can be purchased for about 14 or 15 dollars more so this package is the better deal.

usually these stands, at least in my experience, tend to be kinda weak, like unstable, no way you can put a book or even too many pages on it 'cause it'd collapse, but not this hercules stand, looks strong, holds up a lotta weight, the angle and the height are adjustable with a little button, no more screwing-unscrewing to adjust, and its very portable, it fits, when put away, the cool little bag it comes with.

Not lightweight, which I hope means sturdy and robust. I've had good experience with Hercules products previously, I was just surprised by how much it weighs in comparison to an ordinary wire music stand. I hope the bag holds up as well as the stand itself probably will.

How often does a product exceed expectations? I just got this today, but having had many kinds of music stands before, I feel compelled to write a review. I have the big, heavy sturdy music stands that aren't portable, and I've had and returned the $15-$25 flimsy portable ones. This one wasn't heavy (just the right amount of weight for the sturdiness it seems to have), took seconds to unfold (due to its clever and user-friendly and intuitive design), and instantly made me smile at the problem-solver this stand seems like it'll be, for every situation I'll need it for. Very sleek and even fun to use.

I just received this, and I'm thoroughly impressed. I've been looking for a stand that is both compact and folds down to a small size that can fit in my gear bag, and doesn't feel like it will fall over if you put a book on it (as most folding wire stands feel). I've gotta say, this thing feels really sturdy. It doesn't sway, has good rubber feet and has some good heft to it. I can't speak to long-term reliability yet, but it certainly feels like it's well-built and won't be collapsing after a few months the way cheaper wire stands do.

I needed a portable stand, but the one that would take more than a single piece of paper before collapsing. This one does the job! Sturdy, easily adjustable, folds compact. Just exactly what you'd expect from Hercules.
