I’ve been a fan of Democracy jeans for a while, so buying these online without trying them on felt like a safe bet. After a recent surgery, I needed something loose and comfortable, so I sized up from my usual size 10 to a size 14 to avoid any pressure on my incision. It worked perfectly! The jeans were roomy but still looked great. I did need a belt to keep the back from sticking out, but that’s to be expected when sizing up.The fit is true to size, so my sizing choice was entirely for recovery purposes. The dark color is flattering and versatile—perfect for dressing up or down. The petite length was just right for my height, which can be tricky to find.The material is stretchy, durable, and incredibly comfortable, making these jeans a go-to for anyone recovering from surgery or just wanting a relaxed fit. I highly recommend them for their quality and fit—just stick with your usual size unless you’re looking for extra room like I was.

The Democracy Ab Solution jeans have been my longtime go-to, across a range of different sizes. This pair does not disappoint.One of the things I really love about this range of jeans is that they're so unbelievably comfortable. I never knew jeans could be this comfortable until I tried out this brand for the first time, and I've never looked back. The waist is stretchy and comfortable, even when you're sitting down for long periods or riding in a car (I have personally done both many, many times in jeans from this brand). When I come home, I don't run to the bedroom to exchange these jeans for leggings-- THAT'S how comfortable they are.The indigo wash is nice and dark without being black. The stitching makes a nice contrast. I love the baby boot cut. It takes me right back to the early 2000s, but it doesn't look cliche at all.I'm just over 5'3", and the petite length is perfect for me. Finally, jeans that don't have to be cuffed or hemmed! I got my usual size, and they fit perfectly. They're really flattering on and do indeed lift and smooth things out, but you do NOT feel like you're wearing a shapewear garment. They just quietly do their thing, without you even noticing. As far as I'm concerned, they're so flattering that they're basically magic.If Democracy ever stops making this range of jeans, I will cry. I have not bought any other brand of jeans since I started wearing these almost a decade ago.

My favorite jeans ever. Comfortable and well fitted. Tummy control is great. They are a nice color and very soft. This is my third pair because I wear them every day to work.

I ordered 10P and maybe should have ordered a 10. a tiny bit short.

I like this brand because the pants are very comfortable. The waistline band stretches.The material stretches, which is great, however when it does stretch the size 12 was a little too big for me. I use a belt which helps. I will try the size 10 next time I order.

Love the Democracy Jeans! So comfortable!

Very comfortable in all ways except petite it is not. I am 5' 2". Always wear petite so I thought when I got the 2 petite, I was in luck. They fit everywhere except the length. The jeans are 2-3 inches to long. Touching the floor. I went back to Amazon to see if my order was wrong. Way down below was the product description saying the inseam is 32 inches. No other inseam lengths were listed so that must mean they don't know what they are talking about. I wish I would have seen that sooner. Now I have to get them hemmed up.
