Cute little lightboard
The media could not be loaded. My daughter was able to use it right out if the box. We added in the three AAA batteries and she just started drawing from the cards provided in the box. She was pretty happy with the different color light options, and overall, she was most pleased with her new drawing abilities. This was a great and inexpensive art project for a rainy day.The size is smaller than computer paper. You don't need to just use the cards for tracing. You could use a magazine or photograph to change it up. You don't need to trace if free hand is more your thing.

Very unique and cool drawing pad.
The media could not be loaded. What a unique and "different" kind of coloring, drawing and tracing tablet. You color in what you like, or trace different letters and numbers but when you turn the light on, the color you use come to life. It reminds me of glow in the dark coloring. The colors pop, the words are 3d, and it is a super fun toy. It was a big hit with both the 6 and 10 yr old. I did struggle to remove the marker, until I got the wipe damp and then it came of right away. This does not come with batteries so make sure you have some on hand. Lots of pages to color and trace of needed or the child can free style on the screen. (That was the 10yr olds favorite) the 6yr old liked to trace and practice writing her letters by following the template that came with it.

Fun Little Toy!
I was pleasantly surprised by this little thing. The pictures my son drew looked awesome under the LEDs!There are 3 LEDs at the bottom of the screen. The lights cycle through 5 colors with a push of the buttonor you can choose to have it cycle through all 5 automatically. It also has a timer to turn off the lights after a certain amount of time to save battery. The tablet comes with 2 double sided markers, 10 double sided templates/stencils, a microfiber cloth, 2 suction cups, and a stand. The suction cups and stand are built in to the back of the tablet along with two marker clips for the markers. It does require 3AAA batteries, which are not included, and you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery cover to install them.It took a few minutes to figure out where to put the stencils, but we finally discovered that they slide into the back of the tablet, behind the screen, from the top (see photo). They are easy to trace, and the finished picture looks awesome with the LED lights (see photos -- once Amazon let's me find & upload them). My only complaint is that the microfiber towel did not work all that well to remove the marker, and one end of one of the markers was a little dry. However, this was not enough to detract from my son's enjoyment of the tablet. We tried using a regular dry erase board spray & microfiber towel and that did the trick to clean off the screen. Unfortunately, regular dry erase markers do not glow the way the included ones do, although they can be wiped clean with a decent microfiber towel. As far a durability goes... Don't expect it to last through many drops or being tossed around. But, again, for the price, this would make an awesome stocking stuffer for any budding little artist.

Great Learning Tool
The media could not be loaded. Super cute learning tool for children. This board has tracing cards for the alphabet, numbers, and fun pictures! But, you don’t have to use the cards, and can just draw on the screen. There there are several lighting modes. You can double click and get the board to do a flash mode, which is pretty cool. There is a bit of assembly that is required, and I have listed pictures to show that process. I would suggest when cleaning, wet the cloth that comes with it, and use a tea towel to dry before use. My daughter, who is 3 really enjoyed using it, and I loved that it helped her learn how to trace. Overall, this is a great product that I would definitely buy again!

The best little distraction
The media could not be loaded. This is the best little distraction! My daughter is remote learning and my son is board in the background, this keeps him occupied and feels like he has his own "homework" . MY son loves seeing his art come to life with the light. Its very easy to trace and came with many pages to pick from, even ABC and 123s. I think I might even take out a page from their coloring book or print my own pages for them to trace and color.

Don’t waste your money on this.......
I ordered this for my granddaughter and I wanted to put batteries in it before giving it to her for Christmas. It took me 15 minutes just to take off the screws on the back and try to figure out how to pry open the back where the batteries go in. It was terrible and I thought I was going to break the plastic apart. Then I thought I will just try it once and afterwards I went to wipe off the marker and I had to rub and rub and rub, only to think I was done and the whole screen looks terrible as pictured. I used the tiny cloth that comes with it but even if I had one larger this would still be a mess. I’m returning this and looking into something that is easier to open for the batteries and also wipes off the screen. I used the colored markers that came with this.

Actually better than the description
The media could not be loaded. I bought this as a birthday gift for my 7 year old grandson, and he loves it. It isn't clear from the product description, but the drawing templates can be reused over and over again. I didn't realize this when I bought it and imagined that they were for one-time use. You place the template behind the clear screen and trace it with the included markers. I found that dry erase markers work as well. When finished, press the button to turn it on and the tracing lights up. Each additional press changes the color of the light.I gave it four stars for ease of use because it took two of us a while to figure out how to put in the three AAA batteries. There is a drawing on the box, and little arrows molded into the frame, but the don't help in the slightest. Once you take the the two small phillips head screws, you have to pry the whole battery cover up and then rotate it out. The second time it will be easy. All told, a good product, and it will be very useful for car, plane, or train trips.
