Pods Punching Above Their Weight
I spent a long time researching ear pods. I really wanted the Apple ones as I had been seduced in the apple store by the guy presenting me with the Mark 2 versions on a tray to try - " just press the button" he said and the noise cancelling stepped in - which I have to say was amazing but for 160.00 hard earnt, especially in lockdown I really could not justify - so my quest began.Thes litte beauties presented them selves and after reading many reviews decided to take the plunge they were in the £30's range so fit the budget. 3 days later a rather small splendid box arrived and there presenting itself was a very robust case along with quick set up guide a USB charger and a spare set of small medium and large ear sponges. The case was 70% charged - I read that in the manual - and a quick switch on of the Bluetooth on my apple phone 8 and the Bolton signature revealed itself in the selection. Tick and away we go. The sound is really very good and has a great bass- however my main requirement was for a good mic and speaker facility. 1st call it was great and I could hear clearly and they could hear me very well. You can wear each pod at the same time or independently and they each have independent on, off volume and call answer features. I have used them cycling and the noise reduction works really well - The pods fit really neatly into the charger box and are held in magnetically and always fall onto the charging points without fail. Small blue light indicates that the pods are connected along with a "you are connected" voice tone through the pods top let you know. The white small LEDS in the box let you know how the charging is going.Would I recommend these ---yes certainlyAre they good value for money----- yes indeed,Durability ----very solid pieces of kit along with the case.Would I recommend _ yesNot Apple however for a 5th of the price impossible to ignore, and a real pleasure to use- by the way I am super fussy when it comes to things like this.

Good purchase.
Theres so so many similar products on Amazon at the same price point. After far too much of my life wasted reading the various reviews and becoming an anxiety ridden shell of the man I once was, I eventually settled on these. I'm glad I did. There is a quality about them and they sound very decent for the money. The box is magnetic so the buds satisfyingly jump in as you release them from your fingers. Recommended.

Some good design choices
I seem to be collecting true-wireless headphones lately, but I think I'm finally settled on this style with the "arm" coming down. I've found it makes for a smaller bud which fits more comfortably in the ear. There's a lot to like about this particular model, not least of all the price. My previous, different brand ones were from an Indiegogo campaign and cost twice the amount I paid for these Boltune ones. The headphones came packaged in a sensibly sized box with decent padding, along with a charging cable and three additional sets of silicone ear pieces (small, medium and large).I was pleased to see that they use a USB-C cable for charging - a lot of companies are still dragging their feet and selling products that use the older micro USB connector. My set of headphones came fully charged, with the charging case also having around 75% charge so I was able to start using them straight away.Pairing was easy enough, but I found that they have the same limitation of my previous set they cannot easily switch between paired devices (eg to use them first with your phone, then later use them with a tablet). I have an even older pair of Bluetooth headphones that are happy to switch their connection between a few different devices without having to re-pair. It's a shame that manufacturers seem to be dropping this feature lately.Sound quality is decent, not too tinny or bass-y, although they could probably go a bit louder if I was being picky.Controlling the audio playback is done via a button on each ear bud. I'm happy that Boltune have decided to use a real physical button, rather than a capacitive touch button like some other brands. I find that physical buttons provide much better feedback for this type of thing, especially when you need to press the button multiple times for each function. I can't say I'm a fan of having to press the button a different number of times to play/change volume etc, but the alternative would be to have more buttons which would probably be just as fiddly.Overall, I think these are great value for money and I'd have no problem recommending them to someone looking for a pair of true wireless buds for everyday use.SummaryProsUSB-C chargingExtra tipsReal buttonsDecent soundGreat priceConsCould be louderMultiple button press control schemeNot easy to pair with more than one device
