If you own a Kitchenaid stand mixer and you don't have a juicer attachment and the ice cream maker, you're missing out on some excellent secondary uses for the machine.This one's solid quality for the money. The drive shaft is metal, while the rest is plastic. It disassembles quickly into just a few parts, cleans in moments, and reassembles easily.If you ever have a need to juice more than a handful of citrus, this is an inexpensive purchase you'll be very glad you made.I take great pride in my home bar, and with that I make my own sour mix from scratch. This attachment makes juicing the 20-odd lemons and limes a breeze, and its really efficient. You really get all the juice from the fruit with just the skin and pulp to waste.

We have 2 lemon trees and a grapefruit tree...wish I had a nice orange tree:). Although it doesn't come across as robust and it is all plastic (except the gear part) it is very durable and works great. I can get through a large amount of lemons in a very short time. If you have a lot of pulp and seeds you'll need to empty the filter every so often. The filter does a decent enough job but depending on your tastes you might need to run the juice through another finer strainer. Recommend slicing all the fruits you'll be juicing first and then going through them back to back.

Great little gadget for making fresh orange juice. However, in order to put pressure on the orange while it is juicing pushes the kitchen aid so this needs to be anchored against a wall so that it does not move.

Works fine for daily use in the kitchen. One complaint: metal ring on the inside seems prone to rusting and discolouration. For the money though: a good deal.
