Simple and clean - the ports you need for a modern PC
The main slots are USB3, USB-C and SD. These are the ones you want, and although other readers can offer more types of slots, they all stopped being used years ago and are pretty pointless unless you have a specific need for them. You’ll need a USB3 header on your motherboard. This interface also requires a SATA power connector, which surprised me at first, but I guess it might be something to do with supplying more amps for fast charging functions. Anyway, it all works great and is for a 3.5 inch bay, as stated. The mounting holes are all correctly positioned. I like it.

Great product, well built and worth the little asking price.
The item was received quickly and well packed by amazon.This card was exactly as described and was of high quality, the housing is solid and all connection cables were included.Unfortunately, the card though fitting like a glove into my 3.5" spare bay could not connect to my motherboard as I did not have a spare USB 3 connector.This was of no fault to the maker of this hardware rather user error on my part as I did not check the connections on the pc itself before ordering. I did test the SD side of the card and this worked perfectly though only for Uhs class one cards not for class II as they require a different connection, the card was still readable but at a lower speed.Unfortunately I had to return the product I a bought it for extra USB 3 slots and due to my tiny motherboard I could not use it.That aside, if I had the connection to use this card it would still be in my PC now without a doubt. I'm short, a great product just make sure you don't do what I did and assume you have the spare connections especially on micro or midi ATX boards.

Looks nice but has faults
Although this item looks nice and works, it stays live when pc is shut down and case fans continue to spin. Not good if you have led fans. One pc the power light stayed on when closed down, fans on and would not boot up again until mains power was disconnected. Sadly had to return it for refund. Shame

A great piece of kit
A nice add in panel to increase USB 3 ports and SD Card reader, for a Desktop Computer. Easy to fit and connect.Great value and good quality.

NOT FOR 5.25 DVD BAY SLOT!!!
It’s not for a 5.25” dvd drive as described, only fits in 3.5 bay slot. Would have been 5 stars if it at least came with an adaptor to fit. Otherwise, nice and simple card reader / USB 3.0 front panel

Computer won't shutdown
I purchased this recently, after writing to an sd card, and after removing card I found PC would not shutdown, reinserted the sd card again, and PC shutdown ok. this problem only seems to happen if you write to an sd or micro sd card slot.Everything else is great.

Easy and Worthwhile addition to my custom built PC
Plug and play ready, and works for my needs perfectly. I can't speak to installing this into a normal case, but the quality of the ports are nice and the metal USB hub is sturdy.

Solid Unit
I used this with a USB expansion ( PCI‑E to USB3.0 Expansion Card Adapter) card, also purchased from Amazon. This ByEasy Front Panel USB 3.0 Hub worked perfectly with the card. I needed the card to add a USB 3.0 header. Both were used with an Asus TUF motherboard. There were no issues. Both worked perfectly right away. Actually, I haven't tried the card reader but the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports work perfectly.

funciona pero mantiene encendida la PC
Lo regresé porque no puedes suspender la PC, mantiene encendida la tarjeta madre y los ventiladores, no deja de trabajar la PC todo el tiempo a menos que la apagues, si suspendes para reiniciar tienes que prender de nuevo el botón de encendido. Puse cables de corriente SATA incluidos y con adaptador de 4pin a SATA y no funcionó; reitero: tuve que regresarlo y comprar otro puerto externo
