Windows 10 HP 800 G1 SFF Intel Core i5-4570 Desktop PC Computer - 16GB DDR3-256GB SSD & 1TB HDD - 300Mbps Wi-Fi (Renewed)

I'm no computer geek/expert, not into gaming and the like so I don't need mega high end performance, but I'm not a total noob either. I got this to replace a rather old & weary Dell with a dual core processor & 3 gb of ram that had seen better days quite some time ago. It was working but, as time & technology marched on, I was noticing the gradual drop off in performance more and more.I went for this machine as (a) it certainly has a lot of bang for your buck at the price compared to some other deals on amazon & (b) I ideally wanted it before Christmas and most sellers were only able to offer delivery after Christmas or wanted another £5 for faster delivery. As I pay for Prime, I feel rather irked at having to pay more for delivery so, after a lot of searching and comparing, I went with this machine from SE Remarketing.I've only just started using it today so long term performance is yet to be established, but, so far, so good. It works out of the box, no problems with set up. Came well packed & on the stated delivery day. It matches up with the stated specs in terms of HDD & SDD sizes, amount of ram, included WIFI dongle, Windows version etc etc Its also very quiet, the only time my old PC was this quiet was when it was switched off!The only negative point that I have is that there are a couple of slight, but visible, dents in the case & it certainly looks used, nothing really bad but it is contrary to the statements "No signs of cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, etc.) will be visible when the product is held 30 centimeters away" & "Product works and looks like new". It certainly works like new, but looks-wise, its not pristine. However, that said, this is a refurbished machine. It's already had a previous working life so I wasn't expecting a glinting, gleaming, showroom condition unit to be in the box. It isn't falling apart at the seams and a machine of this age is going to have a few signs of use. Function is far more important to me than form where computers are concerned which is why I am not marking the seller down on this front. The only reason I mention this is that although it doesn't really bother me all that much, others may feel differently about it.To the seller, SE Remarketing, I do appreciate the little bag of Haribos that came with the paperwork. Sweets work well with me as a bribe to leave feedback. Fast cars, money or woman would also be welcome so, you know, if you have anything like that knocking round the office, by all means send over, but sweets are good as well, cheers :)

So much faster than my old machine, once updates were done and my extra software installed it was up and running no problems, well worth the money

1. Amazon really should provide a form for sellers to list connection ports - I had to buy an HDMI - VGA adapter which didn't work - then an HDMI to display port adapter which eventually worked (more about that later). No indication on the listing to say what the monitor connection was.2. Finally got the PC working and after 6 hours of installing all the programs and browsers I need for work the PC crashed with a Blue Screen error. Managed to boot up again after 20 minutes and as soon as I logged onto Windows got a different BSOD which was when I decided to give up and return this. This morning I realised the browser had my password manager extension and managed to boot the thing long enough to delete that before a THIRD different BSOD.3. On the subject of monitor ports the display port socket did not line up with the hole in the casing so pretty shoddy work and something that could have been checked in a few seconds by the seller4. TBH I've given up trying to be "green" and buying recycled stuff - it's just not worth the hassle and all the wasted time - wold not use this seller or anyone else selling refurbished stuff on Amazon ever again.

Honestly this was a pretty good PC for the money and would make an idea daily use machine for people doing basic office and light video editing work.I bought it as a gift but it was unable to handle the workload of the recipient in a fast enough timeframe which included large amounts of 3D rendering.All in though this is an excellent little machine and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a daily/office machine.

When it works, it works. It doesn't always work. Constantly switching itself off and restarting - which is heart stopping every time as I rely on it for my work. At least I have the sense to back everything up on a daily basis. Bite the bullet, folks and fork out for something new. Refurbished is just too much of a risk.

This is my main computer at home with very big memory

This replaced another HP unit which as short of RAM and disc space. Consequently Office works much better. Upgrade worth the money still installing software but looks good so far. Exterior a little untidy but more than acceptable it is not an item where looks matter.

I was a bit wary on purchasing a renewed PC, not being fully convinced that I would recieve the promised system. How wrong could I be. The HP 800 G1SFF Desktop PC arrived the next day and the case was in pristine condition. Every aspect of what would be supplied was spot on, it started first time and I have been using the PC for over a week now and not experienced a single issue. SEremarketing have done a great job renewing the PC and have provided an excellent high specification Desktop at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend SEremarketing.
