Sturdy fan with low noise 24hrs run
Installed in cabinet along with “Rees thermal regulated circuit . It works great , Sturdy fan with low noise running 24hrs. So said that amazon seller raised the price from 1500 to 3200rs immediately after buying the product. For Rs 1500 its value for money but for 3200 its pretty costly.

Noticeably quiet
My first Noctua purchase, and was not disappointed with this entry-grade fan. It barely makes any sound (in comparison, my last one, a local four-dot was like a diesel locomotive shunting). Fits in 120mm holes because of frameless design, though not possible to put 2 side-by-side as the 140mm diameter will interfere. Durability is one ultra-important criteria to gauge the quality of a product, and only time can tell. Even though I got it at a discount, its pretty expensive for being quiet, not value for money for sure.

Probably the best value fans Noctua still sells
Yes, as some of the other reviews are stating, these are not absolutely the quietest fans you can but. They are of course going to be louder than a 120 mm fan. It's a 140 mm fan moving a lot more air... that's the whole point. There are undoubtedly some other 140 mm fans that will be quieter too; if you want cooling performance as good as this but with a bit less noise, you probably want to look at either an NF-A14 or NF-A15 depending on what you're using it for (NF-A14 for case fans, NF-A15 for coolers, but they're exactly the same performance specs in a differently shaped plastic frame). The A14/15 is both slightly more effective cooling and slightly quieter because it's basically the flagship 140 mm fan Noctua does just now and the redux is last-gen tech by definition.NF-P14r redux:25.8 db/A noise | 133.7 m³/h airflow | 1.91 mm H2O static pressureNF-A15 HS-PWM:24.6 db/A noise | 140.2 m³/h airflow | 2.08 mm H2O static pressureI've been using one of these as a case exhaust fan for years and recently switched it into the middle of my D14 cooler, replacing the NF-P14 FLX I had previously put there, and it slightly increased noise but noticeable improved my CPU temperatures both under load and at idle. I added a second one, replacing the stock P12 120 mm fan at the front of the cooler, and the same thing happened again, as expected.I've been buying Noctua stuff ever since the company first appeared back in 2005. Every fan I've switched or added into every system I've built (for myself and for others) for the past 15+ years has been some Noctua or another. I've also found their thermal paste to be very good. I have the distinct impression that this is a case of more or less getting what you pay for; if you want super-premium, buy their latest stuff. If you want *almost* the same kind of performance at the cost of slightly increased noise and a fairly significantly reduced price (and arguably slightly less pleasant aesthetics with this light grey colour scheme), buy a redux. That's pretty much all it comes down to.

QC problems
I've just had one of these replaced by Amazon (May 2021) after finding the first one to have completely unacceptable levels of motor or bearing noise (almost certainly the latter as I tested with pure DC, no PWM circuitry involved) even at 7v or c. 800 RPM.I already have three 120mm redux high-speed fans (two-tone grey like this one, square frame) and the NF-A15 140mm on the Noctua NH-U14S cooler in my PC (also have a couple of low speed 120's I've tested but never installed) so I knew what shoould be expected from this one.Thankfully the replacement is much better (arrived the day after submitting the request - Amazon has its uses!), only the aerodynamic noise of the blades can be heard.Pricing is all over the place at the moment (seems to vary day by day), but assuming £12-14 AND that they meet their spec (in terms of noise) they're excellent value, but I'm giving the model 4 stars (I'd make it 3.5 if I could) on account of the apparently less-than-perfect QC.

Looks like I got a returned product
I was quite excited to get this redux fan as it meant I was just one tiny step closer in terms of components for the water cooling loop I have planned and the grey of the redux fan was perfect in complimenting the gun metal grey of the h500m.So you can imagine my disappointment when I opened the package to find the box tab ripped. My instincts automagically told me this was a returned product as the Noctua NF12-A15s did not come in such shoddy packaging. But I wanted to give Noctua / Amazon the benefit of the doubt and plugged the fan... Immediately I heard the grinding sound of the bearing at low rpms. At 1523 RPM it was much louder than the 2000 RPM Slipstream Scythe 12mm x120 fan it was replacing.Temps were marginally worse too than the Scythe, so it's going back for a refund. If it does end up being recirculated, the next person will get 4 additional ant-vibrational fan mounts.I'll update this review when I buy another redux fan and test it. Currently the NF12-A15s are performing substantially better, see that review.

What a difference
Purchased two for a PC rebuild. What a difference.Am running M.2 and SSDs which replaced HDs and the only noise is a whisper. My PC is on my desktop around a foot away from my head.Definitely recommend.P.S. Did originally purchase one which when it arrived had obviously been used. The four mounting holes had threads cut in them and the mounting screws were missing.Plus there was dust on the edges of every fan blade.Checked it out before sending it back and it made a strange whistling/rumbling sound. No problem with the return.Just a note to warn anyone purchasing - check them out.

Beware the screw spacings: design issue
I wanted to put 2 of these side by side on the bottom of my case and I couldn't line them up as the screw holes are effectively 120mm apart even though the fans are 140mm. The fans work great, no issue there, just note the issue around how the holes for mounting are close to the edge of the fan not out in the corners, this meant I had to use a 120mm alongside my 140mm as couldn't fit 2 X 140mm due to the design.
