This is a must have for me whenever I go hunting. I happened to stumble across this while looking for some hooks to help me get organized in the tree stand. I ended up buying two - and regret not buying one (or more) for all my stands. I am guilty of taking way too much stuff out every time I go hunting...so being organized is a must. This simple shelf is by far the best thing I have come across to helping me stay organized, and more importantly because I am organized I feel I am more safe in the tree stand. The cup holder - hold a cup. The shelf fits my iPhone perfectly - or better yet is a great place for my binoculars and range finder. The hook is great to hang my grunt calls or range finder. By having this attached to my stand - directly off my left or right side - I no longer have to turn around and mess with my backpack to dig out gear, grab my drink, or to place something down so I can get that perfect shot on a trophy buck that just appeared out of no where in front of me. This Universal Shelf by HME truly is "Hunting Made Easy"

I intentionally installed the shelf upside down. It holds my cup, phone or range finder nicely, and comes in really handy.

A real must have on the ladder stand

I have a Summit climber and am very limited on where I can put this. The U bracket that fits over or under a bar to attach to your stand isn't wide enough to fit over anything but one of my climber bars and it's in a very awkward position. The cell phone rack isn't tight enough, it's constantly almost dumping my phone, therefore, I'm going to actually weld it so it doesn't move - then I will definitely like it more. The tightening screws that are supposed to keep the unit in place once you place the U bracket on your stand come undone very easily. I've lost both already while climbing up and down from my tree. I'm giving it a three because I like the concept and once I weld it on it won't go anywhere, but I really would like it to be built better so I can remove it while walking through the woods. I have to leave it on once welded and it sticks out a solid 8 inches, therefore, running into branches and making noise while hiking to my tree.

Bought this about 4 years ago been on stand ever since. Only problem I had with it was cup holder fabric I zip tied on because squirrels and raccoons like to slide it off the loop it's on. It's pretty durable aswell treestand slipped first year I put it on while moving the stand well it pretty much landed right on this bending the main shaft bent it back straight and still good as new.
