If you are buying these as a replacement for the TPP640S save your money and opt for the ones sold directly from the manufacturer. These cheap imitation replacements are very low quality and I highly doubt the filter is HEPA compliant. The pre filter does not fit AT ALL and no you can not just stretch activated charcoal to fit. These honestly only last 2-4 weeks before tripping the “clean filter” light. Garbage product. And yes, I am reviewing after watching my third and thankfully last filter fail from the 3 pack I purchased.

Don't be fooled by the price! Black filter too small and thick. About a 1/2" short on each side. See pic. Does not reach plastic holder pieces on each side even if you try to stretch it. HEPA filter not a good quality compared to Therapure's original. The original allowed for vacuuming and has addition threads in it. See pic (dirty one orig.) Having to use it anyway since we are desperate and can't wait for a new order from someone else! CA fires created hazard smoke here in Reno, NV. Never seen our filter turn this black. We keep it maintained. Will buy authentic replacement in future.

Ok past the noise level question on Amazon here...it's replacements for the name brand air cleaner. I use a pre-pre filter on outside of the air intake of said machines so also wash the foam piece every 3-4 months. This means I do not need to replace my hepa filter nearly as often as others recommend. What do I use you may ask for the pre pre filter on outside of machine. WHY an over size swiffer duster sheet they sell as a dry duster sheet for their newer over sized swiffer sweeper/mop. It's over 17 " I believe or there abouts. It's an ideal size and fit for the air purifier. I add two pieces of scotch tape to each side of the swiffer sheet to keep it attached to the air purifier when I turn it off. That's all there is to it. It does a fantastic job. I got a good buy on the packs of these sheets so I bought two and now have a good year plus supply of pre pre filters. They are white and so when I see they are getting yellow dingy it's time to replace it. That's about 1-2 months. And so easy. I was going to tape two original swiffer sheets together but then I remembered I had these why not see if it would fit and sure enough. Now a warning with my air purifier I also run a room size humidifier. The humidifer causes my machine to read it needs to change the filter. Turn off the humidifier and my air purifier goes back to normal and does not need to have the filter changed. How about that. Kinda blew my mind at first and that's what made me look for a pre filter in the first place but that does not stop it from happening. So in the end I do not worry about the orange light turning on to tell me my filter needs to be cleaned or changed. It doesn't. And it always goes back to blue and all is ok once I turn off the humidifier. So not sure how the sensor works in the unit but it's got a glitch going on for sure. I expect these filters to last me at least 4 years or more. I usually replace all filters once a year if they need it or not. Who knows what you can't see. Wait I do have a microscope that zooms big...no not looking it'd be ugly:)) Lets call it a draw and use common sense. Stay safe everyone and oh yes do use common sense and trust your own instincts.

I love the UV-C feature especially since COVID-19. I like the Auto filter feature, When the Pure finds issues with the air it ramps up to clean the air up. The filter and prefilter work great and only have to be changed every 6 months. I purchased it in White (Larger size) and one in Black (Larger size). And for the smaller rooms they have a smaller unit that quiet and lights can be shut off so the bedroom stays dark at night.

Needed to replace my filters. Had to reposition it a couple of times as it wouldn’t fit initially. You get two pieces - the thin active carbon prefilter and the actual HEPA filter. These have been selling out fast even on the manufacturer’s website so scoop these up when they’re available since they were out for serval weeks and maybe months.While great I wish these companies would come up with a better environmental solution in terms of reusable filters.

Fits my Purezone Elite 4-IN-1 Tower Air Purifier perfectly. I love the Purezone air purifier and was afraid I was out of luck getting a replacement filter. Thankfully we now have a supplier!

I purchased these with the hope that they would fit a TPP640 unit. They fit perfectly snug and the sensor peg at the top of the filter hits the switch spot-on. The carbon pre-filter looks like it was cut by hand, and is slightly smaller than the original foam pre-filter, so that it doesn't reach the clips. I washed out the original foam and used it as a backing to hold the new pre-filter in place.Note that unlike the original filter element shipped with the TPP640 unit, these are not the sort that you can expect to clean out and reuse.

Full disclosure: I've had my air purifier unit for at least 4 (or more) years and when it would notify me that the filter was dirty, I'd simply blow it out with an air compressor and put it back in. Not a bad trick, for a few times. It was clearly time to replace the filter. Good price, fits my unit perfect and it is working much better than before.
