A movie talking about a movie within a movie
The production is more or less an anthology connected by Chad's (Jeremy King) VHS rental shop. The stories are spoofs on what appear to be both specific horror films and generic ones. The initial" Halloween" spoof is easily recognized, others are more difficult unless pointed out. I would recommend a look at IMDB movie trivia section prior to watching. There is really no such thing as a plot spoiler for the film. Black man dies first, final girl is a virgin. Jason never dies. I really expected clowns and zombies but they did not appear.Fun film.Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. or zero breasts as Joe Bob Briggs might say.

meta af with some interesting concepts
they break the 4th in pretty chill ways. there are a ton of meta jokes but i think they are tastefully and well used in the over arching story (film rental shop). i thought the cancer kid bit towards the end to be one of the funniest scenes of recent memory.if you dig horror & comedy check this flick out, defo a must watchgoo zombie is superbdont sleep on this,4/5 🩸🩸🩸🩸

Hilarious!
I hate gory movies. I love supernatural horror. This however was neither. This was pure, campy, hilarious, special practical effects and side-conversations from writers' rooms turned into a little trope carousel and I loved it. FUN!

Good laughs, good gore. It's got the cheese....needed T & A to get 5 Stars out of me though.

Absolutely hilarious
At first, I didn't understand the concept. Literally, I was disappointed and thought it was a serious movie. When I realized that it was supposed to be campy and gory, I loved it. It's gory, funny, and makes fun of horror movies in all the right ways.

Cheesy but good
The people that are leaving negative reviews just don't get the concept of this movie. It's supposed to be over the top, it's supposed to be cheesy, it's supposed to look low budget, it's supposed to have lame jokes, jump scares, and effects. That's the whole point of this movie! Think back to horror movies in the 80s. But I guess some people will NEVER understand the point of the movie. With that said, I liked this movie. It's cheesy but fun. I'd recommend watching this movie IF, AND ONLY IF, you don't over think this movie. There's no hidden agenda, it is what it is. If you don't like cheesy, don't watch it. THAT simple.

Quiz: Are you a true horror fan?
Horror anthology: Check.Loving homage to horror classics: Check.B-movie horror-comedy: Check.Buckets of gore: Check.-----MILD SPOILER-------Extra Credit--Joe Bob Briggs cameo: Check.Extra Extra Credit--You loved "Toxic Avenger:" Check. If you pass that check-list and are intrigued, you may enjoy "Scare Package." Unfortunately, that formula, even with an iconic horror classic trope/theme to focus on each segment, gets tedious over seven segments. There is a lot to love, and if you've imbibed a bit, then your enjoyment will likely be greater. And that Joe Bob Briggs Cameo! (I was given the original Joe Bob's Drive In book as a gift back in 1985). The guy rocks and was my favorite part of the movie. My quibbles:* Having the first short before the wrap-around story intro was innovative but confusing.* The over-the-top gore get's repetitive.* It's too long.Drive-in Academy Award for the special effects team who must have been very very busy!

Buena película
La película es entretenida, se burla mucho de los estereotipos de películas de terror de los 80, por si tenían la duda si cuenta con su subtítulos en español
