Great product, but was as big mess when I received it. Stars taken away because of packaging. I thought for sure the product description stated that the discs were in a plastic bag inside the box, but when I got it, it was just the discs packed in a cardboard box. There was "dirt" all over my other items. I could tell that the discs were packed inside the box carefully, but some managed to get beat up and were broken. I spent at least 20 minutes wiping everything off that shipped with these. Aside from that I think it is a great product. I always dreaded planting in pots because of having to buy and schlep around heavy bags of potting soil. I love that these are dry and lightweight, and you just add water to expand and fluff it up. I look forward to growing more plants now that I have these.

Switched from rock wool to coco coir for hydroponics because of multiple issues. The biggest problem was germination of the seeds in rock wool was just no producing enough. This coco coir has been great, mix it with hot water and you have instant dirt, it holds a good amount of liquid, and my plants seem to like it as more seed germinated then I expected. There is not much more to say and I would most likely buy it again.

Three stars is generous; I'd call this one a 2.5, based on shoddy packaging.I ordered the 50-count box of 50mm coir tablets. It arrived leaking copious amounts of dust, without any padding for the contents, or any moisture barrier, several tablets broken – a couple of them to the point of disintegration (thus all the dust).I had to extract the tablets carefully and transfer them to a moisture-proof container for storage. Lotsa trouble for a little planting medium.

We gave nearly 100 kids these pucks, along with 3 inch wide x 3 inch high peat pots and a few bean seeds. They lived watching the soil expand and fill the pot. Good growing medium as well. Lots of kids got excellent results growing their bean plants.

I love these, it’s easy to store in the house, and it’s wonderful for seed staring

These were rock hard and wouldn't absorb water right so they didn't swell and expand like they are supposed to.

Was delivered on time and easy to use and store.

The packaging was durable, there were no broken disks, by adding the water soil expands to fill 8 by 8 cm pot.
