Absolutely brilliant, base coat is the best I've used!! If you find it too thick and gloopy, stand in warm water for a few minutes, the product gets like this due to cold temperatures in the warehouse and delivery vans. Matte top coat is very matt not satin like other matte top coats I've used but does mark easily

The matte and top coat varnishes are lovely when used - couldn't fault them. However, both base coats are gloopy and congealed and can't be used! Wouldn't recommend overall!

This set of base and top coat nail polish are individually presented, they have the name on the bottle top too so you don’t get mixed up when using which is super handy.The base coat was as expected and worked fine, the top coats both performed well. The matte is a very good texture and worked great over my nail art. The glossy finish looks like glass, very impressed. They set fine after 90 seconds under my uv lamp.See photos for examples.At £7.99 (Nov ‘20) these are very good value for money coming in at about £2 each! Great addition to any uv nail polish set.*****review update*****After 5 days I’ve had chips, first one was after moving a sofa so I blamed myself but more today and I’ve done nothing to cause them! I’ve added a photo of this. Normally my uv polish lasts 14 days so this is pretty disappointing. I’ve changed my star rating to reflect this.

My younger teenage, Grand daughter has been using nail polish for a while and just started going to a nail salon and paying more than £15 to have her nails gelled because she cannot do it herself at home. Well as an early Christmas present I bought her both an LED curing lamp and then I found an inexpensive UV lamp, so I bought both as I was not sure which was best. Along with other nail care accessories and coloured gel polishes, I added this pack of 4 as they are specifically designed for use with both her lamps. She has tried them out a couple of times and said the whole process was easy to follow, if a little fiddly and time consuming but quicker with the LED lamp, she was happy with the result, especially the shiny top coat and the £15 saving. I liked that these products were healhy for her to use, and no strong smells or fumes or ingredients to harm her. She is very new to doing her own nails with gel products and said that she needed to redo them after about 10 days but that could be because of her inexperience. She thought the price was great for 4 bottles, compared to other gel bottles I bought for her and I agree, and she said she would buy them again when she needed to. One thing we were not sure of was how to use the SOAK OFF base coat, Amazon has very good visual and written instructions on this product on their website page but not reference to how to soak them off.

I love the packaging, the bottles are snuggly fit in a plastic case inside each box. Each bottle has a label on the lid to indicate whats in the bottle which is great if their in a drawer or nail rack it makes it easier to see. 7.5ml glass black bottles again is great for gel polish. 2 base coats, 1 glossy top coat and 1 matte top coat. The matte top coat is one of the milky liquid top coats but the matte is a nice one, it's not got a satin or silky finish to it, I tried both matte and glossy top coats over a black for the picture half and half to try show them best I could, the matte is a proper matte with no shine or sheen to it at all. The glossy is very glossy too, couldn't be happier. All 3 cured fine in my 54w led lamp. Bargain I thought for 4 bottles. I'd definitely buy them again and would also recommend.

Each bottle is labelled accordingly to avoid confusion. This set cannot be used as a regular base polish and top coat. It has to be cured in UV lamp.How to use:1. Apply base coat. Cure for 2-3 minutes in UV nail lamp.2. Apply gel polish and cure for 2-3 minutes3. Apply second coating for gel polish and cure again for 2-3 minutes.4. Apply top coat (glossy or matte). Cure for 2-3 minutes again.The base and top coat is very easy to apply and glides smoothly onto nails. The matte top coat looks milky and is glossy when applied but it will mattify after curing. Price is quite decent given that the set includes 4 bottles. Lasted for 3 weeks with very minimal chipping. I tried doing 2 applications of top coat with curing in between and I find this more long lasting.4 stars
