First, my dash cam is limited to 16 GB, so this was my best option. There may be better cards out there, but I didn't find them in the time that I had.Been using the same card (the first card) for about a month now. I've had zero issues and/or malfunctions. My dash cam runs 24/7, and has been [loop] recording nonstop since I formatted and started recording with this card. I've got 4 other 16 GB Micro SD cards as part of this 5-pack. I haven't gotten to them yet. I'll format them as I need them.No issues. I'm happy with my purchase.

I've just ordered another 5 pack of these. They are fast, look good, and have survived a week of torture test cycling between +120 Fahrenheit to minus 40 and pressures from sea level to the flight levels - all while writing faster than any of my other cards.The jargon on labeling the SD cards can be confusing if you want the fastest card - speed at this size with durability were my main reasons for getting these. For instance, writing something to this card which took 1 minute was a much longer 8 minutes on some of my other brand name cards with words like "Ultra" on them. It is also confusing in that the Gigastone Seller Area on Amazon didn't even have these 16G size U3 speed cards listed for sale at their main storefront link.

I used these for my trail cams. They have been in a carrying case in the house for quite a while undisturbed. When I went to get them out this year for deer season 2 out of 5 fell completely apart the glue holding them together must have failed.

Ich habe im Mai und im Juli 2022 jeweils ein 5er Pack dieser Kärtchen in der Größe 16 GB gekauft. Ich habe damals um die 35 Euro dafür bezahlt.Nun kannte ich diesen Hersteller (oder diese Marke) bislang nicht und war natürlich daran interessiert, ob die versprochene Haltbarkeit der (hoffentlich) MLC Zellen eingehalten wird. Manche Hersteller sind da ja sehr "kreativ", was diese Auslegung angeht. Samsung ist sogar so dreist die schlechten QLC Zellen als MLC zu bezeichnen, weil eben Multi-Level. Dabei hat sich in der Branche klar ein gewisses "wording" eingebürgert, und ich erwarte bei MLC eben nur 2 Bits pro Zelle.So, zurück zum Hersteller Gigastone:Ich habe nun also eine Karte geopfert, um diese einem Stress-Test zu unterziehen. Dazu verwende ich ein Windows 7, welches nicht ungefragt mal eben wegen Updates neu bootet, und dieses läuft sogar offline.Der Test läuft aktuell seit 9 (neun!) Monaten mit dem Programm "CheckFlash". Es wird ein sog. "Full Pattern Set" mit jeweils 18 verschiedenen Bit-Mustern je Durchgang geschrieben, und sofort danach wieder eingelesen, um die Fehlerfreiheit zu überprüfen.Der Rundenzähler ist inzwischen bei 952 angelangt, was nach Multiplikation mit 18 insgesamt 17.136 Schreib- und Lesevorgänge bedeutet. Die angekündigten Schreib-Zyklen von 3.000 wurden also bereits um das 6-fache übertroffen. Das ist ein ausgesprochen guter Wert.Die Geschwindigkeit der Karte liegt nach Tests mit unterschiedlichen Kartenlesern konstant bei 17 MB/s schreiben und 32 MB/s lesen. Das ist jetzt keine Rennmaschine, aber für den Zweck "High-Endurance" zu vertreten.Ich benutze die Karten in diversen Raspberry Pi, welche auch relevante Netzwerk-Funktionalität erfüllen, z. B. Pi-hole, und darum ist hier eine zuverlässige Karte von großer Bedeutung.=> An dieser Stelle eine klare Kauf-Empfehlung.Ich hoffe nur, dass der Hersteller nicht irgendwann eine "gewisse Chargen-Streuung" an den Tag legt, und eine "andere" Qualität anbietet - die wäre umso ärgerlicher, wenn die Produkt-Bezeichnung unverändert beibehalten würde.Und falls der Hersteller hier mitliest... er darf mir gerne ein paar kWh Strom gutschreiben, denn ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass der Test so lange dauert, und die Karte so gut ist.
