Makes a Great Little "Terminal" for Remote Desktop Users
I got a couple of these for corporate users who needed dual-monitor workstations for remote access via RDP. The units do come pre-installed with Windows 10 Pro, but I had no trouble at all downloading the generic installer from Microsoft and installing from "ground zero" (standard operating procedure here). The drivers worked without any hassle or effort on my part, even though all four monitors, both keyboards, and the mice were different models from different manufacturers. Windows 10 Pro started up already activated (evidently the Beelink people handle their Windows 10 licensing exactly the way Microsoft wants them to do :-)These little computers are nice and compact, and look attractive. They have all the I/O connections I needed (and more: I didn't even need the second gigabit LAN port). If you choose do the VESA thing and mount them on the back of a monitor, you can put the side with the power button up top where it's easy to reach, as are the adjacent headphone/mic jack and three USB ports (two USB 3.0 and one USB C). They are plenty fast enough for my application, running Remote Desktop sessions nice and snappy as can be. As a bonus, with 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD, it may take a while for Microsoft to bloat Windows enough to run these little lovelies out of space.UPDATE on 2021-Dec-27: One of the units developed fan bearing noise over the Thanksgiving holiday. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon. They were courteous and helpful. After a couple of messages back and forth diagnosing the problem (I sent a video clip so they could hear the sound), they shipped a replacement fan from Shenzhen, China (in fact they shipped a PAIR of fans, one for each of the two units in my order, even though only one fan was busted...nice touch!). It took about 3-1/2 weeks for the package to arrive yesterday (probably not helped by the Christmas shipping season :-). The fan was easy to replace: four screws to remove the lid, four more screws to take out the motherboard; then unplug the little fan connector, easily peel off a little strip of mounting tape, three screws to remove the old fan; then reverse the process to reassemble. Overall, it was quick and easy...nice to see these little units are maintainable if something goes wrong. Quite happy.

Great for a router, terrible for Windows 10
I set the my expectations pretty high when this tinypc said 4k. In reality, there's quite a bit of lag just running 1080 between keyboard and mouse response. CPU gets maxed out really easily just running Windows Updates. This is not the fault of the manufacturer, but Windows 10 is bloated AF and Win11 will be no better. Thankfully, that's not why I purchased this.I bought this strictly to be a virtual box to host pfsense and TrueNAS, and to that, I can say that it will install them each natively. ESXI will not boot from an installer USB, but Proxmox installed without a hitch. I had to add a drive to get a suitable drive pool, but after that it was off to the races!Gig ports will push gig. This little processor has plenty of room to run PFSENSE on 2 cores, one core to TrueNAS and one for Proxmox overhead. Runs smooth without jitter or stutter. It is quite cute that you get a Win10 Pro license with it. I only wish that Windows Defender antivirus wasn't hammering the CPU usage while I was making a backup. If you want a little web box that will play youtube videos and run a tab or 2 in Edge or Firefox, this box is okay. If you want to use something robust in Windows, this machine simply lacks the horsepower to transcode or play any modern game. Heck, I wouldn't even attempt Starcraft 2 on this, and that's been out for a decade.

Ran fine for 8 months, now random daily shutdowns
This box was perfect for my needs as an always-on server. It's been running great since July when I first got it, but now its developed random daily shutdowns. I've installed the latest drivers on it but with no luck, so I'm thinking it's a hardware defect.Update: the SSD was the failing component. Support took a few weeks to respond but they ended up sending me a replacement SSD. PC works great now.

it was sent to me without any SSD or HHD.
Last purchased May 13, 2022.I know I'm too late to complain, but for $220.61 it's worth reporting what happened. I was in a hurry and had to complete a job for college, my PC stop working, and it took at least 30 days to fix it in the shop. I decided to buy this Mini PC and no matter how hard I tried it didn't want to upload Windows 11 Pro. At that, I got a call from the workshop, and I picked up my PC and put the Beelink GK55 aside to deal with it latter. The 30 days went by, and more than two years went by, and it never started up. Today when I had time, I started trying to fix it with a recovery USB, but I got a message saying that the Disk would soon fail. Well, I took on the task of replacing the SSD and … Oh dear! To my surprise when I opened it, I found that it was sent to me without any SSD or HHD.

It is tiny but it works well.
I bought this to stream internet programs to my not so smart Vizio TV. I really like a PC interface to find what I want to see on YouTube. The BeeLink Mini PC is so small and quiet you hardly notice it is there. I like it a lot.

Internal sata connection only running at sata2
After adding a Samsung 870 EVO it appeared to be running slow. Samsung Magician confirmed the SSD was only running at sata2 even though sata3 was shown as available while the internal drive does run at sata3. Can't get a decent answer from support except that it's backwards compatible with sata2/sata1.It also suffers from severe interference on 2.4G WiFi when usb 3 devices are plugged in and frequently drops the remote connection.I have had this for several months and really want to like it as it's the right form factor and has enough performance for my needs. However I need more storage that runs at the fastest rate possible and based on the level of support it's unclear if that is possible.
