Bought this as a Christmas present.Excellent value for money. The wee glass star bottles are lovely. The recipient loved it.Would definitely buy again

I was disappointed by the size of it I expected it to be larger. It was for a gift and I felt I had to buy something else to go along with it.

Small containers but I’ve heard they were delicious because my daughter won’t share

Bought for my friend for Christmas. I knew she wanted to try white hot chocolate so this was great. My friend loved it!

Hot Chocolate Kit Gift Set of White, Milk & Orange Flavours with Mini Marshmallow, Peppermint & Chocolate SprinklesThe product consists of six parts----hot chocolate powder x 3 and toppings x 3 in star shaped containers.The box packaging for the product was well done.The Star ContainersPresentable with screw tops and contents clearly labelled. The star pots did add appeal when choosing to buy the product.However, the stars do not stand upright so if partially buying to recycle the containers for other usage, e.g arts and crafts, it's not worth it.Hot ChocolateThe hot chocolate powder is meant to be three flavours= white, milk chocolate and orange chocolate.In the package I received the white chocolate was actually milk chocolate. Therefore cannot comment on the white chocolate.Taste.The milk chocolate actually tasted relatively good. It seemed better to use one full star of powder per cup. This left a good velvety rich aftertaste. I did at first try half a star per cup but it felt a bit watery to me so mixed in the rest of the star to help deepen the taste. As such with 3 stars, you could probably get 6 cups overall if use half a star per cup but for a better taste use a whole star per mug.The orange hot chocolate smelled disturbing, kind of like lemon cough mixture of sort, the taste wasn't much better. It was revolting and went down the sink.ToppingsThe toppings----marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles and peppermint chips.The marshmallows had to be tweezered out of the star but otherwise tasted fine.The chocolate sprinkles came out easily, tasted good both separately and in the hot chocolate.The peppermint chips were rock solid, possible indication of getting heated and melting together ? Could not get them out of the star. I did try a couple of chips I was able to get out with a tweezer, they tasted ok. The rest of the chips were stuck together in one big block inside their star. Later placed the star in a warm bowl of water and melted the chips into a liquid state so was able to empty the pot and put it for recycling.Did not bother seller over the problems with the product, just chalked it up to live and learn. The intent was to buy a couple of these for presents but wanted to try first to see whether the quality was decent.Having done so, I would not buy again unless I found the item in a £1 store and even then...It was definitely not worth the price on amazon.The only reason item got a 2 star rating is because the milk chocolate powder flavour redeemed it a tiny bit.
