Great flavor, super soft!
The Melom flavor was my favorite, but the strawberry was pretty good too. A lot of people had the misconception that these where going to be like the ice cream mochi we have everywhere in America, and these are a completely different thing. Regular Japanese mochi doesn’t usually have ice cream in it. They’re soft and chewy, with mild thickness, and have a creamy center. I really enjoyed these and it was my first time having mochi other than ice cream mochi! They were so soft and delicate too!

Delicious and fresh!
I loved these! I got strawberry and melon. Melon was my favorite but strawberry was very good too. First time having mochi. They were filled with sweet white bean paste. The candy was not overly sweet like what Americans are used to, but had a perfect sweetness. They were fresh and squishy. I have no idea what they taste like in Japan but I loved these! I will order again.

Daifuku with Marshmallow and Fruit-flavored Paste. Sweet Flavor!
The packaging held up perfectly during shipping, but no ice packs or insulation were included. That isn't uncommon for this kind of Daifuku because they're air-sealed in a plastic package and sold at room temperature in the snacks/pantry section of stores. Still worth keeping in mind if you live in a hot area.If you expect these to be like mochi ice cream, they're not. They have a thin layer of mochi surrounding another layer of marshmallow and contain a sweet fruit-flavored paste. The mochi layer was super soft, gummy, and chewy, like biting into an elastic caramel without anywhere near as sticky. Wasn't a massive fan of the marshmallow, though. The innards of the melon-flavored Daifuku were grainier and less sweet than their strawberry counterparts. Both were very sweet, but the strawberry ones were noticeably sweeter, with a more artificial taste and a smooth, gelatinous filling.Between the two, I preferred the melon-flavored ones because they were closer to traditional Daifuku and less sweet. I don't think either are outstanding, but they're good enough that I ate them all. If you don't like artificial flavoring or super sweet Daifuku, you probably won't love them.

So good!
I got strawberry and melon flavored Mochi. The strawberry is super good! Its light and fluffy and then you bite into it and it has this strawberry filling inside! It has a white power on the outside its like flour. Still great! I havent tried the melon yet but i plan to soon. I recommend these two

Sweet
I never had these before so I wanted to try them I was curious. I like the texture a lot they are like marshmallows. I was not able to choose which flavors I got but that's ok because I didn't know what I wanted . I got the honeydew and the strawberry. I only tried the honeydew so far. It does taste like honeydew but also like candy. I probably won't eat a lot of these. I can't eat more than one at a time they are too sweet for me. I probably won't buy them again, but they are good I'm glad I tried it. 😊

Best one I have used
I have a well-known history of becoming obsessed with a particular food to the exclusion of others (not ALL others, but snacks) and then one day just getting sick of it and moving on. A Japanese friend introduced me to traditional mochi at Christmas and suddenly I was all things mochi. I tried a few kinds (local-made ones at store, Yuki and Love) but these are my favorite so far. There's no thick red bean paste filling, they are very light. I have some dental problems so I am always looking for cold chewy things to ease the pain, and these do just the job. They are not too sweet, very chewy, and probably the one snack I never run out of.

Chemical Taste
First, these were packed without any sort of dry ice or cooling packs which indicates to me that these are stored somewhere on a shelf in a warehouse at room temperature prior to shipping.I refrigerated them immediately.A few days later I decided to try one. Immediately I noticed that the texture was off. Part of the machine dough had separated from the lump of filling and formed a strange, pinchable air pocket inside of the mochi. The mouthfeel was off but not abysmal, you could say it lured me into a false sense of security. As soon as I processed the mouthfeel, I was hit with a horrendous, almost chemical taste. That was enough. Will not be ordering again.

Very sweet and lovely texture!
Not sure what the one star reviewers were expecting when they ordered this! It’s literally a flavored “gel” like center, wrapped in marshmallow, wrapped in sweet flavored mochi rice flour. Of course it’s very sweet. I enjoyed it. It was exactly what I was expecting. Love the consistency and texture and I did not find the flavor to taste chemically at all.
