It works, but for me the volume is too low and distortion is too high
I was hoping this would replace the previous wired FM transmitter I was using, and essentially it does... but with a hum and distortion that I believe is related to the max volume.Good: Very simple to install and set up, and connects automatically when you turn on the car. The manufacturer is very helpful and fair.Bad: At max volume on my phone (iphone5) AND max volume on this transmitter, the sound is so low I have to turn up my speakers to max. I have a Mercedes with a stereo that can make your ears bleed with normal CD or radio, but the sound is so low that at normal volumes I can barely hear what people are saying even in well recorded podcasts. At max volume (when other regular radio stations are VERY loud) the sound is audible, but with a lot of static, and a regular, almost pulsing, electric hum.Because of the volume issue, I have the sound maxed which I think causes a lot of distortion to be picked up in the FM band. This makes the sound quite bad. It does what it claims, but for me the static and frequency distortion isn't acceptable.UPDATE: I've added another star for two reasons.1) The manufacturer has been extremely helpful and accommodating. They have provided potential solutions and even shipped a replacement at no cost.2) More importantly I can see that others are using this item and clearly do not have the same issue. I'm willing to assume that some combination of my phone and/or car speakers might have something to do with my issues. That doesn't invalidate my experience, just adds perspective.

It worked then stopped.
Update: it stpped working after 1st use. LED display screen blinked HI then blank. I was unable to select FM station nor connect bluetooth. Now, I am using old FM transmitter that plugs into phone.OLD: I am very pleased with this purchase. It conveniencely charges while plugged in and it was fairly easy to connect to cell bluetooth. I was able to stream music from music app, answer calls and navigate. The dial volume selector was different and at maximum. Please note to increase volume of media and phone and also if needed, increase car stereo volume.

New technology for older cars!
A really cool product. For those of us with older cars, this makes for the perfect Bluetooth car accessory. I am able to use my IPhone to play music through it, and talk on the phone! It is great!!This does get finicky with a few stations, but overall, definitely worth the money!

It works!
Didn't work for us very well. Couldn't hear any conversations well, even sitting still.Apr 17 19 update: the seller read my original review and sent me another unit . The replacement works much better.

did not work. could not dial out on phone when the Bluetooth was plugged in. sent it back

Minor static, overall good quality
It works, it does have a small amount of static and can get lose causing more static. I did not have to change the channel or anything just plugged it in, connected and off to the races.
