Some fly up, some don't but it's still a fun item.

They look cool when you use them, but the first 2 of them broke right away!

Well it was more difficult to wind them up & get them on a box without them flying away. It took me at least 6 times b4 I could get them all wond up & in box . My daughter did love them tho. I dont think I will try it again tho.

It was easy directions. I used clips to hold each butterflies, 5 in total, so that I could put them into the birthday card. Released the clips while I held all of them in place. It was quite a surprise for my daughter. In fact, she wanted to do it again. Had everyone twist the butterflies and put them in card again. It worked beautifully! I liked the idea that you could reuse these for someone else.

I make homemade cards and made my great grandkids one for Easter. I inserted the butterfly in each card. They loved them. Then my daughters friend seen them and asked me to make her a birthday card but to make sure I inserted a butterfly. She's in her 30's. Lol

All these swell videos they show are at slow motion. In reality - the whole thing is over in less than a second - so fast you can neither see them flying or enjoy it. Terrible gift for a youngster - they can't wind it or fly it.

Colors not as vivid and larger than I thought they would be. Overall okay just not what I was looking for.

I included two of these wind-up butterflies in my daughter's graduation's card. Everyone around jumped as the card was being opened. The butterflies were an added surprise to the traditional unveiling of "money in Card." The best part is that the butterflies are durable and are worth the money to see the added surprise on faces.
