Koolaburra by UGGMen's Tipton Slipper

It's wonderfully comfortable and almost half the price of UGG's Ascot. It took me three orders to get a fit. Amazon's first recommended size, "9," was WAY too small. Based on their sizing, I ended up with size "11. " HA! I don't wear anything near an "11" in any other shoe.

My husband has a medical condition that makes his feet feel wet and cold all the time. Nothing really helps. His podiatrist recommended that he get Ugg slippers, but they are pretty expensive. So when I saw these Koolaburra by Ugg slippers, I decided to get them for my husband.He always wears very thick wool socks, so after reading the reviews, I ordered one size up. They fit perfectly with his wool socks. My husband really likes them and says they are very warm. They seem to be very well made and I expect they will last a couple of years at least. Likely the inside lining will be the first part to wear out—that is 100% polyester faux fur. The sole is comfortable and the slippers have a lot of structure to them, although the bottoms are not super cushiony. I have found that as we get older, it’s important to have just the right degree of padding in the soles—too cushiony a sole (e.g. very thick memory foam) makes it more difficult to walk and can throw us off balance, but not enough cushion will cause sore feet. These Koolaburra slippers seem to strike that perfect balance.I got them in black so they would not show the dirt and keep their look longer. They look sleek and attractive.The seller’s photos show “Koolaburra by Ugg” on the back of only one slipper. That is actually on the back of both slippers. I bought these in size 11 for a birthday gift for my husband. These were too tight, so I exchanged them for a size 12. My husband says they are the most comfortable slippers he has ever worn!

I have never worn this brand before, but they looked like the kind of slippers I like so I decided to give them a try. They are not super soft with pillowy foam inserts. If that is the kind of slipper you are looking for, then I would look elsewhere. They are soft and comfortable, but don’t have a lot of padding on the inside.However, if you like a more supportive slipper, then you will get on fine with these. They are shaped well for you foot and the ankle area is reinforced with hard plastic to maintain the shape of the slipper. They are warm and fit as expected. I wear a size 12 shoe and the size 12 slipper fits just fine. The sole is very durable and fine for making the odd trip down the driveway to pick up the trash cans.Big question is, are they worth the money? Right now that is hard to say. If they are still holding up well after 6-8 months, I would say yes, but right now it is too early to tell. For me, the only real reason to pay more for slippers is longevity. Will they still be comfortable and hold their shape a few months down the line? Only time will tell.Update: 11 months later and these have held up really well. I wear slippers year round and these have served me well. No real signs off wear. Comfort is decent and they do their job. Recommended.

Northeast WII bought these slippers for my husband last Christmas and he ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM! He still comments on how warm and snug they are and he can’t wait to put them on when he comes in from the cold!Please know up front they are very snug when first wearing them. He used a shoe horn when putting them on for a while.They keep their shape and are a snug fit and a warm, comfortable slipper! I will be purchasing more as gifts for family members this Christmas!

Very soft inside. Great base with memory foam and sole grip (no sliding on slippery floors!). The model is only available in regular width and I have flat wider feet. It was a tight - almost uncomfortable - fit the first time I put them on. Almost returned them. But my son loves his set and that convinced me to wait. A month later, they are still soft and warm and a lot more comfortable, Still a tigh fir and you can't wear socks with them but they feel very nice all around the house, especially in cold winter nights.
