REEF Ortho-Spring Men's Flip Flop, Arch Support & Soft Cushion Footbed

I am buying men's shoes now, since even wide women's are often too short. I chose a size 10 and slid my feet right into them--they felt good! And sometimes, even when my feet are a little swollen there was still enough room beneath the straps to stay comfy. I'm keeping them!

These are kinda stiff when new and loosen up fairly quicklyThe arch support is firm.Heel is cupped.There is little cushion for the foot.Sizing ( 11 ) is accurate.These are good when wet, both at the foot and the sole to floor.If these work for you but you need more cushion the Oofos recovery sandals are great- except when wet !

Reef flip flops are always solid.

I'm a larger mammal, with larger wider feet. When I first tried these on they felt tight but were so comfortable I thought they'd break in over time, seems reasonable. Weirdly they fit my foot, a size 10, and had great arch support. I really liked them although they fit snugly. That may not be an issue for most people but my wider feet appeared to be aggravated by the snugness, with one of my feet developing a bunion. It happens to the best of us over time, not blaming the flip flops, and I really like Reef as a company. I've been wearing their gear since I was a kid surfing at Mission Beach in SD. Unfortunately I realized I couldn't wear these. If you're a smaller fella with smaller narrower feet (meaning not wide feet) these will be fine for you. Unfortunately they didn't work out for me. Still providing a positive review because I love the company.

I was hesitant about the price but the sandals are high quality and seem like they will last a while. As stated, they do have very high arch support. I have flat feet so I like the arch but it's high enough that is makes my step feel slightly tilted outward away from the arch. Long term I think they will wear in well but it's the highest arch on any sandal I've had. Picked these over Birkenstock for their basic flip-flop styling and they definitely compete well for arch support. The sole is extra soft and comfortable, the strap of the flip flop fits nice and snug.

Flexible material. Color is black. Appearance is dark. Great heel support. Lightweight. Well worth the money for my heavy footed husband.

I have ballet dancer arches, and I rarely find shoes, let alone flip-flops, with enough arch support. Though I don't normally buy Reef products, I took a chance on these given reviews, and I am really glad I did! These flip-flops have outstanding support and cushioning. If I have two complaints, they are that 1) the strap looks and feels a bit cheap, and 2) they run small (I would recommend ordering a half-size larger). These are of course more expensive than your basic flip-flops, but if you're reading this review, you've probably already decided that you are willing to pay for something with extra comfort, and these will not disappoint.

I used to buy Reefs because they were durable and long lasting. They made great flip flops in 2007-2008... then quality started to gradually decline. It seems that their flip-flops only last at MOST one season.The flip flops itself are great. They feel very comfortable, didn't need to break them in. They felt great on my feet right out of the box. I wear flip flops every summer, so I thought this would be great foot support for my feet....then I was experiencing slight foot pain at the ball of my left foot. As in the photo, the foot bed has deteriorated from where the ball of my foot is at. After feeling and pressing down further, the foot bed has been reduced to the base of the sole. These flip flops didn't even get me through one summer. This is bottom of the barrel quality. For the price of these flip flops, I would have rather ordered a pair of Rainbow flip flops, which I did since its only $5 more. I'm not a shill for Rainbow flip flops, I'm just very disappointed in Reef and the recent direction of the quality of their products... Spend your money elsewhere.

The first time I wore these I wasn't sure I'd like them. They have a high arch support that felt strange under my feet. I thought they would remain uncomfortable because I would always feel that strong arch pressing into my foot.I decided to give them a one day breaking in trial. Boy, I am I glad I did!The high arch prompts your body to adjust your posture so that you walk more naturally. Of course, because this is a new experience, it feels unnatural first. By the end of one day, the flip flops began to mold to my feet, and I started enjoying the feeling of strong support they gave my body.Also, my sore knees suddenly started to feel better. The next day, I took the flip flops with me to an appointment with my orthopedic doctor. I showed him the sandals and asked him if he thought they were helping my knees. He said most likely they were.I'm not suggesting that everyone with knee problems will have a miracle cure with these Reefs. But I feel confident that you'll do your feet a favor by wearing them.

This sandal provides good arch support for flat feet.Only complaint is shape is bit narrow.Not sure about longevity.
