Love this filter jug. It is a good size for me, it looks good, sleek design. It works even better. Cartridge is easy to fit and replace, and it filters the water just great, you can taste the difference of the filtered water.Most importantly, the design of the jug prevents unfiltered water being poured out of the top reservoir into your glass when you pour, unlike most filter jugs.The only little niggle for me about this jug, is that, like every other filter jug the filter cartridge sits in the filtered water in the bottom reservoir. Like I said all filter jugs are designed this way, and it's not a big issue, but I would just prefer for my cartridge to not be in my filtered water.It feels sturdy and It holds enough water for me. Some reviews have said it is too small, but I don't think it is. Fits Tesco classic cartridges.Absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it.

For your money a good buy but does have slight niggles.Filling the jug just takes forever, I've had these types of jugs before with the same filters but for some reason this one is really slow. The other downside is the handle is rather large, so to compare with a standard fridge door with this jug we can only fit in a 4 pint milk container with it.But hey it filters and doesn't taste too bad so for the price and it's faults it levels up to be more better for money than anything else.

The filter jug arrived today just as promised. The quality and design are excellent. It's elegant and fits nicely into the door of my fridge. I tried one of the Brita classic filters and it fitted perfectly. Superb product and excellent value for money. Don't think twice - get one now.

Bought this as had lots of Brita Classic filter cartridges left over after Brita kettle died. Brita no longer seem to make jugs that accommodate the classic cartridges, so had to find a suitable replacement. The jug is well designed and build quality very good. Haven't tried the filter cartridge that comes with the jug, as wanted to confirm initially that it was compatible with the Brita Classic cartridges. The Brita cartridge fitted perfectly into the jug and didn't allow any water to run between the cartridge and the jug, but instead all water correctly filtered through the cartridge. When there is water in both the top and bottom chambers, no water leaks when pouring. I do like the slide mechanism, in comparison to either having to take the top off the jug or flip a flap up to fill. The slide mechanism is smooth and does not catch on anything on either direction. Having a calendar on the slide mechanism is a handy additional feature.

It works as expected. Need to push the filter down to ensure it fit properly for filtering.

This was the least expensive water jug that I could find and it is compatible with the standard universal water filters.  Aqua Optima CLS916 Universal Water Filter, fits Brita Classic and most leading brands, 12 pack This keeps the filtered water the least expensive possible. The jug is not the largest water jug on the market but it more than fills the coffee machine.
